Where's the plastic sheeting and duct tape to seal ourselves off from possible chemical weapons attacks by the terrorist cells roaming out fair land? Fortunately, we can all buy guns to protect ourselves as well - a tactic that has successfully stopped terrorist attacks in Iraq for many years now (/snark)

American flag with 20 stars and 7 strips as corporate logo america:
Jeez, habeas corpus is uncharted territory for the Bush Administration. Who protects us from Bush and Cheney? This is blatant racism. Be afraid of Muslims and anyone with a less than white color of skin. 12:01 p.m. 1/20/09 can't come soon enough.

There is more of a chance of dying due to hunger in the country than a terrorist attack. Maybe the President should concentrate on that instead of the big, bad terrorists. Terrorism is a threat, but it is police work that will stop them, not wars.

After 8 years of the Bush/Cheney fear mongering, those who still buy into it are the pathetic losers. If they cannot see past the bullyboy fear machine to the little men behind the curtain by now, they are simpletons who cannot think independently.

Those people are the ones I'm scared of. What are their numbers? Can they decide the election?

The Bush regime engineered their own Mariel boatlift. Fidel must be loving it. bring them over here so you don't have to fight them over there. just brilliant. at least make damn sure you can get a conviction. rounding up every adult male named hussein from china to canada has not worked out very well. but then what has bush ever done that worked out well?

Scare is the thing to do. I can't take the local news anymore. They had some guy shooting at motorists here in the past few days, well they caught him but the new report was horrible. Instead of telling us the what, where, how, and why of journalism they interviewed people on the street who were soooo scared and glad the good old police caught him. The said the police had no motive but felt they needed to add the cops statement saying they didn't need one. Thats nice, but as a news consumer I'd like to know.
Then some guy drowned in a local lake, and they compelled to give us a graphic list giving us tips on HOW NOT TO DROWN. I'm gonna drown this weekend?

michael moore's greatest achievement was explaining why americans are so afraid. He focused on the handgun mania (bowling for columbine) but that is just one of the symptoms. lack of a functioning health care system is both a cause and a symptom. celebrating wealth over hard work is another element since income inequality makes everybody afraid whether they realize it or not. americans don't trust themselves to solve problems as a community. despite all the lofty rhetoric, we presently have very few common values other than manifest destiny and intolerance. the fear-failure cycle has to be broken.

Who was President during the run-up and tragedy of 9/11? Who was President after 9/11 who was going to get Osama " Dead or Alive"? Who has been President when our spending went totally out of control and became an anchor around the necks of future generations? And so it goes. How on earth can any Republicans rationally expect Americans to vote for them and John McSame? Only F E A R can triumph! F E A R , F E A R!

He should lead by example. After you, sir. No, not a problem. I can wait. Sure, show us how many pills it takes. Go ahead, I have plenty. Here, have a fluffy cushion. Is the water cols enough? you want more 'cause it tastes funny? Okay, be right back...

I will not display a US flag untiL Bush is evicted from office.
Those that enable that terrorist (Bush) should also be tried as traitors.
I weep for what the US has become.
I am not proud of my country on this 4th of July....and for those trolls that can't deal with that....BITE ME!

George is just scared that the greatest transference of wealth in human history may come to a halt. he is also quite afraid that the high cost of petroleum will cause the global economy to adopt non petro-chemical solutions to future economic activity. All in all not what his benefactors has paid for.
