This plays out great for the November election. I'm starting to see some bipartisan common sense. We Dems are starting to look good all over the place.

I'm all for the GI Bill, but shouldn't we work on getting them home first? A college education does nothing for PTSD..........

Bush and McCain will still get "pro military" billing despite treating the troops like slaves
  • PeteWa · 1 year ago
This is standard operating procedure for Bush and the Republicans, they only support the troops as props and jingoistic slogans.
While in reality the Republicans do everything possible to fuck the troops at every opportunity, stop loss, no armor, bad food, block legislation to help the troops, not to mention sending them into harms way on a pack of lies.

good on em! 'bout damn time.. But regarding your comment that bush still has enough gop support to sustain a veto -- do you mean in the house? Cuz a 75-22 is more than enough to override a veto - am I missing something?

McCain can help Bush and we are going to hit him hard
