Well, well, well, it's looks as though Ileana is taking her cues from McCain's campaign and is trying to run away from the toxic Bush too.

Next we'll be hearing that she is co-opting Obama's message of change just like McCain is trying to do.

Her record is actually better than that Maverick McCain record of 95% voting with Bush.

Want to stop a serious Bu$h rubberstamper?

SUPPORT RETIRED NAVY MASTER CHIEF DOUG TUDOR in FL-12 against Adam Putnam.

Putnam is the third-ranking Republican in the House and the 39th richest Congressman at age 33, mostly due to family holdings.

Adam Putnam doesn't understand the plight of the average American after two terms of Bush.

Adam Putnam, by virtue of his votes for his party leadership's priorities and against common sense legislation that would help his constituents and the United States, doesn't represent US. He represents THEM, the monied interests, corporate fatcats and fans of testosterone-laced wars for profit.

    Please help.

We have people power, but precious little cash to take the fight to the streets.

The Cuban Republican community in South Florida need to wake up and smell the coffee. I read last week that they are finally starting to realize, after years of promises and no action, that the Republicans have been paying them lip service for years. I live here, and will support Taddeo's campaign with financial contributions and any other way I can. Thanks for posting this Joe! Oh, and Wasserman needs to go. Her claim that she can't support the Democrats running down here because she's "friends" with the Republicans is appalling. She definitely needs to either support them, or get out of the way.
  • scottinsf · 1 year ago
You are spot-on about the Cuban community. Back to Wasserman...

Your characterization is too nice. Not supporting democratic candidate = supporting republican candidate in my mind. The bottom line is that Florida's 18th should be democratic and it's not. We have the same crap here in California where Mary Bono keeps getting voted in. People need to wake up, particularly a lot of the retired old queens in Palm Springs.

You're right.......it was too kind, which is so not like me! Bottom line, she needs to GO!!!!

This is pure criminal and is getting little or no attention in the media. A new report out today PROVES that Bush outright lied to move this nation into war. So one president lied about sex, another president lied about war and cost thousands of deaths and put this country into extreme debt and IT GOES UNNOTICED. It proves Richard Clark and Scott McCellan to be telling the truth and BUSH/CHENEY lied.

I am so enraged that this is not getting the attention it needs. Read the article, I guarantee you will not come away with anything other than anger.

You think she's flakey? Wait until our Governor-in-a-suit, the one with the suntan, starts appearing as the VP candidate. Yur gonna luv his style, I said style! Here's the deal: he's honest! Can you imagine that? Nobody said he was smart. And nobody said he was gay (well . . . you know, not officially . . . ) but he's honest. You know . . . you're gonna luv him, Amerika!
  • scottinsf · 1 year ago
I could almost see McSame going after the closet-case vote about now. His campaign is coming off the rails. It'll be fun watching Obama wipe the floor with him.
  • graymatter · 1 year ago
What? Charlie Crist, governor of our fair state? Are you saying that CHARLIE CRIST IS GAY? Now, I've heard a lot of rumors about politicians, but saying CHARLIE CRIST IS GAY is sort of one for the ages, ya know? I mean, if CHARLIE CRIST IS GAY, what's next? Not that I have a problem with that, natch. If CHARLIE CRIST IS GAY, that's perfectly OK with me. He should be allowed to marry in Florida if he is.

  • Dumbo · 1 year ago
    Ros Lehtinen... Yeah...

I tell you, the names of Republicans we can target keep popping up so quickly, it's hard to choose one you can hate so thoroughly that it stands out and makes you grin. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen is THE ONE. Before I was pleased. Now I am fucking ecstatic!!

Let's all bow in prayer that we can finally get rid of this scumbag.

    Barack, about the "whitey" tape:

“We have seen this before. There is dirt and lies that are circulated in and they pump them out long enough until finally you, a mainstream reporter, asks me about it,” Obama said to the McClatchy reporter during a press conference aboard his campaign plane. “That gives legs to the story. If somebody has evidence that myself or Michelle or anybody has said something inappropriate, let them do it.”

Umm...this is one of the repugs that Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chair of the democratic party's Red to Blue congressional campaign group, is supporting. Not only should Wasserman Schultz resign from this post but Florida democrats in her district should send her packing. Democrats like her should be smacked down. HARD. This is not about playing nicey-nice. This should be about the absolute destruction of the repug candidates that supported this criminal administration.

Glad to see Ablog supporting Annette Taddeo since the right-wing of the democratic party doesn't seem to want to.
  • tbhull · 1 year ago
I am not surpised Wasserman-Schultz would support this rethug, given her supportof Cliton. Are they a members of the same country club? Wasserman-Schultz, nlike Wexler, made poor choices and musrt go. This once rising star is as much as a has been failure as Clinton and her rethug friend who will hopefully lose her seat in '08, much in the same devastating way Hillar lost the dem nomination contest.
  • scottinsf · 1 year ago
Nope. That is water under the bridge. We should be angry with Wasserman for not doing her job. NOT for supporting Clinton.
