I understand that it's hypocrisy at its most glorious, and Pete Sessions is a Grade-A douchebag, but... can we get an "after the cut" or something? I'm not a big fan of censorship, but I would really really like it if I could keep reading Americablog at work without them blocking it and.. are those pasties? Good lord.

Sorry, but if we censored the photos, and you couldn't see them on the home page, then the story would be a non-story and the media, and the public wouldn't click through. So, yeah you may not be able to read this at work, but I'd rather make this a story and sacrifice a few readers for today :-)

PETE SESSIONS: I don't think that lobbyists in and of themselves are deceptive or deceitful people. I don't have any problem with people going and doing things whether it's at a pool or horse racing. What bothers me is if you say one thing and do something else.

John-- Thanks for the ray of hope. This is how we can tear down the Republican party. The right wing may be crazy but they are loyal--and its to their god, not to their politicians. The real Baptists will turn on the Repugs quicker than we can imagine if the MSM will pick up on stories like this. The easiest way to take the repugs out is to dis-hearten their voters. Real southern Baptists and Church of Christ members won't go to vote if they know they are voting for a politician who frequents strip joints...esp if he is married.

We had a really gung ho, charsmatic pastor who suddenly resigned, left town and his next mailing address was Honolulu where he was pastoring another church. After several years, found out why he left so suddenly. Seems he had been molesting young married women in the church to humiliate their husbands and prove he was more manly than they were. He was a college former quarterback among other things who still liked to get into fist fights.
Oh yeah! Almost forgot. The girl's youth minister was a lesbian pedophile. The boy's youth minster was at least not gay, but he did really, really, really like young girls. No, the head of the elders didn't have any sexual improprieties, but he was a thief.

When I refer to "real" I am referring to those who actually live by the moral code they espew. They are out there--usually just in the fold. They don't lead, they just follow...elderly grandmothers mainly....and soccer moms. It makes me think of my great grandmother loving Randy Travis for decades until he cheated on his wife and my gma burned all of his records. True love don't last long when it comes to preachers and politicians.

Having lived in Vegas I can tell you the reason there's no nudity is so that alcohol can be served. If you can drink alcohol then the dancers can only be topless. The very few clubs that allow total nude dancing are dry. On the other hand, they do allow patrons as young as 18. The topless clubs require you to be 21. Vegas is strange that way.

I play guitar at The 40 Deuce nightclub in Las Vegas (for the Royal Jelly Rock-N-Roll Show) and what makes me feel "dirty" is that Sessions may have held this fundraiser when I was performing there. Ewwwwwwww.
