to convert a Chevette to run on lead acid batteries with a simple lawn mower
engine to charge them. This is thirty five goddam years ago and it worked
with then primitive technology. I had a bud in college who actually did it
for then huge bucks of $350 and it worked very well, although the Briggs and
Stratton engine was noisy as hell. He used it around New Haven for several
years. The movie "Who Killed..." jumps ahead to the late nineties and shows
that the tech advances since the seventies made this idea possible.
This nation used to be able to put men on the moon, create information
technology which has been the envy of the world, developed smartphones the
size of a candy bar which I am writing on right now. And we cannot get past
100 year old internal combustion engine technology to get around town?

There is only ONE possible reason we don't have electric cars: the CEO of
Exxon plays golf with the CEO of GM who plays golf with the CEO of Chevron
who plays golf with the CEO of Ford....and their little white boys club all
give money to Congress and the GOP to keep our little system in place. They
had better get control of this new fangled "net thang" because the unwashed
masses are begininng to figure out the scam.

In Leviticus, if you read the Torah Hebrew, the word "abomination" is
transliterated "SCHICKSA"...now anyone from the New York area knows that a
Schicksa is a Gentile girlfriend or wife of a Jewish boy. It's nowadays a
fairly humorous moniker....means that the Jewish boy wants to WASPize his
image and falls in love with a Schicksa and pisses off his Jewish mother. To
an Orthodox Jew, the word is pretty strong and not very nice. Like eating
shrimp or pork...which also translates as "schicksa" or schicksot plural. (I
only a bit of Hebrew because I dated a Rabbi once.)
Anyway on several occasions with Southern Baptist white trash Bible thumpers
I have pointed out to them that if they are going to take the Scriptures
LITERALLY, they really ought to learn Hebrew, since everything else is
translated and NO translation can possibly be the perfect word of God
anyway.
Then I point out to them that their fat white trash wife is technically a
Schicksa and thus an abomination. You'll use it.
