AMERICAblog: Call center workers in two states quit over anti-Obama scripts

Dear Karl Rove: Thanks ever so for putting slime into American politics. Thanks ever so for making decent men and women sound like criminals just so you can hold your unelected power trip. Thanks ever so for trashing this once glorious nation of ours. Now, Karl, I would ring up Jeffy Lube, get him some Viagra, and let him fuck you royally into next week because you will need to stretch that fat ugly ass of yours to prepare you for prison.

LOL thanks blackwolf for having such pleasure in my poor writing on here! I swear if you were not str8 I'd fall in love with ya!
Ms. Bachmann says she made a 'big mistake' going on Hardball (ya think?) and then has the audacity to say she had never even seen the show before she went on, yeah, sure whatever.

It was no mistake; Bachmann simply is stupid enough to believe that cable shows are all rightwingers who totally agree with her POV. I'm just glad that people in MN got the goods on her...

Note that she didn't apologize for her "anti-American" comments. She's just sorry she went on the show. Bachmann is not particularly bright or original; she's part of the lunatic fringe; she's an embarrassment to Minnesota; and the people in her district had better step up to the plate and elect her opponent.

I wonder if they are registered Republican's? That would be even more awesome. I would assume they could be, but of course, a job is a job and maybe they took it not realizing the slime they'd have to be saying. I personally think those types of calls should be outlawed, on BOTH sides. We don't need this crap in our election process....I guess calling is ok, but scripts should have to be approved. Perhaps just like the ads that have to say they approved it. If they had to spew that crap and then say "and John McCain approved this call", things would change pretty quickly...

My neighbor had a McCain/Palin yard sign in their window of their house for about a month. This morning while walking the dog....the sign was gone.

Excellent! Although at first I thought it might have been the entire crew at these sites who had walked out...now, that would have been very ballsy--but that's not to say these 2 people weren't brave to walk out on money--it does show they have principles. Good for them!

Robocalls should be outlawed if there aren't already. -and-
I can't believe Ohio, which lost record number of jobs during the Bush years, is STILL undecided/leaning McToast, even though conservative Virginia is leaning Obama. Boy, what a dumbassed state (not including Cleveland!) I came from.

Agreed, I grew up in Ohio, and the reason for the lean to McToast is one of skin hue identification. They haven't suffered enough yet to understand how they've been played by the old white guy and his party.

It's because Obama is a TERRIOST!

That's a shame. I've had a couple of push poll callers that had to read anti-Obama scripts. I heard them through and then I said, "You know better than that but I respect that you need the work." And then I hang up. We live in a brutish social system. What else can a person do than live like a spy from a better world?

That's a tolerant approach. Thank you.

I saw that clip of the pink people trying to arrest Rove on stage. She should have slugged the fat bastard instead! I can't stand his smugness.
I don't use profanity on the blogs, but I reserve it for people like Karl Rove. He's a flighing fat fuck. If it wasn't for his lipstick he would be totally colorless.

www.fivethirtyeight.com has Ohio as a BLUE state. I don't think it's close. But in SE Ohio, where I live, it is close. People down here have a tendency to vote AGAINST their personal interests.

It must be that Stockhom syndrome.
I must confess that I have a lot of inlaws from that area, Woodsfield. They accept me and my partner and actually like my partner, but they'll still vote to keep us from beimg recognized. Whenever I see a McCain sign on car window I can almost bet that the driver is over 65. I think the younger generation will carry the day this time.

I had a push poller call me a few weeks ago. I let her read her script, but I refused to give the answers they were looking for. Instead, I just riffed on what pond scum and criminals Republicans were. She was in stitches by the end of the call and her last question was "Would you be interested in volunteering for your city's Republican committee." You could tell she knew how ridiculous the question was, in light of what I'd already said, and she was laughing as she asked it. When I said "Not if you held a freaking gun to my head," she lost it completely and cracked up. I hope no supervisor was watching her.

What a breath of fresh air. Two average Americans teaching mccain and palin a thing or two about honor, values and decency.

I definitely agree . . . they are to be commended. My hat is off to them!

That's all it takes, people who stand on principal. They are courageous. With more people in the world like these call center workers, the world would be a far better place.

I believe the individuals voting for McCain fall into two distinctive groups: 1) RACISTS . . . Hate to admit it, but racial hatred continues, it is just kept a bit quieter. 2) RELIGIOUS FANATICS . . . These people, on command of their pastors, vote who they are told to vote for. They are what are often refer to as "sheeple". I know many of them. Really good people but totally radical in their belief.

Well with all the mean-spirited and nasty and intolerant outpouring from mccain supports it’s not too difficult to come to that conclusion.
oh…and a third group…. People who are BOTH Racists AND Religious Fanatics.
