How hysterical. Larry King has Glenn Beck and Ben Stein on tonight to bash Obama while trying to claim the "liberal media" is unfairly in love with Obama. Who the hell does Glenn Beck think he is? An outsider? Glenn Beck, big media news reader, trashes Obama tonight with the tired claim the liberal media loves and fawns all over Obama. He basically proves the media trashes Obama as much as they report positively about him. Glenn Beck proves there is NO SUCH THING as an unbiased or liberal leaning media. Larry King should be ashamed of putting such a Republican hack on to conduct any kind of interview that is supposed to be politically neutral.

Other than the post raatz did at Kos back in Feb, I haven't read much about Barack's sister (his half-sister), Dr. Maya Soetoro-Ng. In May WaPo did this article about her. There is this video of her urging Hawaii voters.
Good genes in that family.

"...a leaked Department Of Health and Human Services memo describes a plan to cut off federal funds to states, hospitals and clinics that discriminate against employees who refuse to offer birth control or abortions on religious or moral grounds. As if that weren't bad enough, the proposal redefines all birth control as abortion. According to Reuters, in the memo, the HHS draft "proposes to define abortion as 'any of the various procedures — including the prescription and administration of any drug or the performance of any procedure or any other action — that results in the termination of the life of a human being in utero between conception and natural birth, whether before or after implantation."
Between now and January '09 this goddamn administration will pull out all the stops.
