"Now, if only the Obama campaign's media consultant could come up with some decent, hard-hitting and effective ads."

Might I recommend them hire "The Jed Report"

    John Edwards just admitted affair.
  • mirth · 1 year ago
    Oh No.

I was an Edwards supporter, a strong one. But something about him and this didn't ring true, not back when it first surfaced and not in the last couple of weeks. The NE had to many details. Poor Elizabeth.

John McCain and NOW John Edwards! Both of them cheating on their sick wives. SICK, SICK, SICK... Thank God, John Edwards isn't our nominee for President. Can't say the same for the Republican nominee...
  • devis1 · 1 year ago
    That sucks--I really liked him.
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
Jeez...McCain's paying his image managers to cement him into a curious position as a crabby, envious old diva with a loose concept of 'truth in advertising'???
    Interesting approach...
By late September McCain will be demanding that Obama wear a sweater or something for god's sake its rainy and chilly...

Imagine CHEATING on your SICK WIFE with some young groupie! I can't believe it!!!

Oh, you thought I was talking about John Edwards? Nah, I'm talking about John McCain cheating on his first wife with Cindy McCain.

Lets see the press cover THAT story instead of someone who ISN'T a nominee for President (John Edwards). We never REALLY hear John McCain explain the decision behind his dating Cindy McCain while his first wife was sick.
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
I want to know what John McCain has to say about the John Edwards story. Would HE ever cheat on his sick wife?
  • devis1 · 1 year ago
    Who will ask the question??
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
I want BOTH candidates, John McCain and then Barack Obama, to answer that kind of question during the debates! Both of them. I want to see what kind of "dubious" response McCain would have to that kind of question.

Our Pravda Press gave us Iraq by playing stenographer for Bu$hco. instead of calling out the Bu$h regime for all the lies over Iraq. The big question is will the press continue to allow Republicans to dismantle our country by refusing to report the truth?
  • ron071 · 1 year ago
The press won't give us another Bush only an ignorant, racist public could do that. If the public can be fooled for a THIRD TIME what else can you say regarding the reason? I don't believe that this will happen and the facts as they are prove that a landslide is in the offing.

WANT MORE PAIN ?????????VOTE Mc CAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately the Washington Post has no problem using the "L" word when referring to Democrats. Just out:
Former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards is admitting to an extramarital affair but denies fathering the woman's daughter.
Edwards tells ABC News that he lied repeatedly about the affair with a 42-year-old woman but says that he didn't love her. He says he has not taken a paternity test but knows he isn't the father because of the timing of the affair and the birth.

Amen! The press has fallen into a cycle of "he said, she said" instead of reporting the news. It's time the press did a little work and fact checked things before reporting, then don't mince words. The press cowers in fear of being called "liberal" by the right yet they have no problem perpetuating the lies fed to them by the GOP. Time for real reporting and "straight talk" form the press. You certainly won't get it from McCain!

When I use that word, liar, people have to 'search' for the meaning of the lie.

It has a specific meaning. When I get a 'liar' email about Obama, I send Obama another $25.
And tell the person who emailed the liar email, this is a lie-and Obama gets $25 bucks.

And I always reply 'to all'.
Any wonder why Franken titled one of his books "Lies, and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them"?
  • gumbygirl · 1 year ago
Al Franken's book (actually, all of them) is a must-read. I love him to death!! Senator Franken...sounds good, doesn't it?

"Now, if only the Obama campaign's media consultant could come up with some decent, hard-hitting and effective ads."

Yes, and they wouldn't have to tell a single lie in order to do so!
  • OneManComotion · 1 year ago
Do the drum beat...it's a lie...ilt's a lie in commercial after comercial. Because as we all know, it is NOT a liberal media, and that drum beat will not be herd thru traditional news networks.
  • Captain_America · 1 year ago
Obama's campaign should start using the "lie" and "liar" word choices more often in labeling McCain. Let it cycle through the media for a week and let the cable news douchebags debate it.

"McCain likes donuts and coffee. He could never be a liar"-AP
  • dkawaii · 1 year ago
McCain is a serial liar. Everytime he is hit with a question that pins him down, out pops a lie.
    Examples: "I never said timeline"; "I am proud of that record, from fighting for the recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday in my state..."; "I never said that I am not an expert on the economy. I don't know where you are getting this"; "I’ve received every award from every major veteran’s organization in America";

Bush lied to get us in the war. What would McCain do once in power?

John McCain: just the same old Bush.
