McBush has good judgment? Not on his life. And he would (has) cost the taxpayers more than 4 crashed jets and a lifelong phony disability payment.

He gets the disability payments for being ugly. He gets Social Security for being old. He gets rich for being a gold-digger.

O&W, you gonna die grumpy? Maybe taking that vituperation to the streets might help?

I took to the streets 40 years ago. Most people today are too lazy. I'm just too old, but at least I admit it. I didn't think shaking politicians' hands was the way to go then, and I still think that way.

Careful John, satire is lost on us liberals.

Could the reason Cindy McBush doesn't want to release her full tax returns be due to her channeling money into Phil's bank?
How about an investigation into the use of cranes in this country, Chris? How many have failed in the past few months? Four people killed for nothing in Houston yesterday when a crane that was being assembled for use at an oil well crashed. And if it's happening to cranes, how long until a building in this country collapses, without an earthquake? There have already been 2 parking deck partial collapses in Charlotte, NC--no earthquake, just shitty construction. What's a bad bolt here and there?

I don't see where we have any right to question any country about human rights violations. We DID, ONCE. But no longer thanks to the fascist government we now have in the US. In 8 short years we've gone from a country that respected the laws and treaties we had, to a brutal fascist state that believes it can imprison people on the dictators word alone, and that the government has the right to spy on all of its citizens. We have gone from a "free" market system to a nationalized socialist corporate bailout of the two largest mortgage lenders in this country.
No, Chris, we no longer have any authority to question any country about their policies. America is a failed expirement. The neocon republicans have completely ruined it.

pretty devastating criticism of hypocritical government
it's refreshing that your wit and insight spares no one
I trust your kind of fairly applied judgment
your economic analysis is especially helpful

and to think, contractors hired by the Chinese government built all of the venues for the Olympics. One does need to wonder what will happen if an earthquake happens centered anywhere near the games ...
I haven't seen much in the news lately about that near epidemic in China killing little kids. Is that one being surpressed so that parents won't be afraid to take the whole family to the games?

China is not America's business partner, China is America's owner. Israel is of course America's boss, as the collapse of Talks with Iran has just proven yet again.

Human rights defenders in China pay dearly for their courage. Think Shi Tao, Ye Guozhu, Bu Dongwei, Huang Jinqiu, Hu Jia, Yang Tongyan, Chen Guangcheng ...
Liu Jingmin, vice-president of the Beijing Olympic Bid Committee said, in April 2001: “By allowing Beijing to host the Games you will help in the development of human rights.”
What happened to the promises China made in its bid for the Olympic Games? Who will hold them to account?
Must be that pesky UBS investigation.
McBush is toast.
