AMERICAblog: China's thugs attack CNN's Cafferty for calling them, well, thugs

  • PeteWa · 1 year ago
Message to America's leaders: The reason you get so much bad press is because you are murderous corporatist dictator thugs, and the entire world knows it.

    It's the mirror.

    PeteWa -
The whole paragraph...just sub "capitalist" for "communist" and it R US.
  • bernieg1 · 1 year ago
    PeteWa:
Yeah, everyone in the whole world wants to live in China, whereas our shores are empty of immigrants. It astounds me that a person who enjoys the freedoms in this country is so disappreciative of their value that he compares the US to China. You obviously have never lived outside the US.
  • PeteWa · 1 year ago
    bernieg1,
Your response to my comment shows an obvious lack of reading comprehension abilities on your part.
I did appreciate how you magically were able to determine where I have lived in my life, you most likely are also able to tell me my age and shoe size.
    Kudos to you, Kreskin!
  • bernieg1 · 1 year ago
Your response to my response, with all of the words you used, did not clear up the matter. Are you saying you actually lived outside the US but still compare China to the US? With all the extraneous nonsense about Kreskin you didn't make clear if I was right or not.

It would be appreciated if you could answer directly and without references to the paranormal.

How much does the US owe China in dollars?
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago

    ============================
I'm not sure of the number, but it is HUGE and if they ever decided to call in our debt quite suddenly, it would destroy our economy. Perhaps that's why our President is so nice to them, eh?
  • jedipauly · 1 year ago
There is a major problem with your theory. The U.S. dollar is fiat money, not backed by anything. If china, or anyone that holds U.S. debt, tries to call in their debt, what are they going to get? More worthless dollars? There is no real debt owed to china or anyone. China and the world have been scammed! They have been conned into financing debt in exchange for nothing! The U.S. scams the entire world into giving us goods for worthless pieces of paper printed at will. Ha Ha you are all fools!

Why do we buy cheap inferior and tainted crap from China, which only creates more income for China to build weapon systems that are aimed at us? Our trade with China will be our downfall.

    Oh, thanks John.

I finally stopped worrying about antifreeze in my cough syrup and cyanide in my tooth paste and lead in my nephews toys, and then you go and piss them off.

They pulled the same thuggish crap here in San Francisco. The Chinese government bussed in pro-china goons from all over California and had them try to shout down anyone who tried to protest. The 'torch monitors' in the ubiquitous blue track suits kept screaming at the runners and they were surrounded by a phalanx of armed guards and police three people deep. No one saw anything.

The torch relay started in Nazi Germany, it would be good to end it once and for all in Communist China.

Party bosses can fly out to the provinces and kidnap a young girl with impunity.

    They're thugs.

actually, I would like to see a big "BUY AMERICAN" campaign. Today I found several products made in USA in Ace hardware and Costco.
Are any of you old enough to remember that is how Wal Mart started? They touted they only carried products made in the US.
  • Malcolm · 1 year ago
The regs on what can be labeled "Made in America" are very complex. "Made in America" does not mean that something has been made here start to finish. It may mean that something was made in China except for the last tiny step. And many of the goods claimed by Wal Mart to be made in America turned out to be made elsewhere. Buy American is great, but for it to mean anything, the regs on what that means will have to be changed.

Next I suppose those goons and thugs will go after the CBS writer for using the phrase "slanted reports".

China's leadership just doesn't know how to deal with criticism. They forget that the rest of the world doesn't live in fear of them the way their own people do.

What are they going to do, stop shipping us their goods, so that we have to make all our own stuff again? I wish.

JUST look at the Bottom Left Front Page Business Section Bottom of the Washington Post Business Section...and EVERY MORNING you'll see RECALLS for LEAD from CHINA.
( There is one lead recall today and there were two lead recalls yesterday)

It's really a shame that America has fallen so far that the infamous human rights abuses of China just seem like business as usual in comparison.
  • JetSetter · 1 year ago
Were you describing China or the USA?
  • Malcolm · 1 year ago
With you all the way, JetSetter. How do you tell the difference? (Answer: In China you can't see this blog, but the ISPs are working on that). Tienamin (sp?) Square on one side, Kent State on the other. China's a bit behind, but just wait. In a few years they can have their very own Iraq, perhaps in Taiwan. And yes, I have lived outside the US and would be living outside it now if I could afford the move and my elderly dog could stand it.

    China Thugs?
Really? Tell me something I don't already know.
  • rx20034 · 1 year ago
John, in your dictionary, there is no such a word as "racism", because you can make any insulting comments about anyone or any people as a group - Catterfy clearly meant all Chinese as a group - and if they get angry, well, that just proves your point. Yes people can be over-reacting, but that does not excuse Cafferty's racism remark. Compared to him, Don Imus sounds almost naive.
