  • Malcolm · 1 year ago
While we're at it, when do we get to see Carol McCain's tax returns, say for the last 28 years?

Okay. . .well, now we know that Cindy McCain is not qualified to be First Lady, since she will be using taxpayer's monies to finance the duties of her Office.
Perhaps McCain can ask his first wife. . .oh, that's right. . . oops. Well, John...time to look for spouse number three.

Like the youthful blonde trophy wife said, "I'm not the candidate." She neglected to add that her husband isn't much of a candidate either.

So what with the separate filing an all I guess Johnny and Cindy have a loose domestic partnership and not a marriage...How daring!!!

    a pearl
Hensley was found not guilty after being defended by William Rehnquist, the future chief justice of the Supreme Court...

William Rehnquist's rise to power within the GOP isn't well known, and his ties to Hensley aren't even mentioned in Wikipedia. He got his start in brass-knuckle Rovian politics by suppressing black and hispanic votes in Phoenix and rose to be corrupt Attorney General John Mitchell's lawyer during Watergate. Nixon put him on the Supreme Court as the first real rightwinger, later to be joined by Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas, and replaced by John Roberts. Rehnquist presided over the impeachment trial of President Clinton and appointed George Bush president in 2000 after Bush lost both the popular vote both nationally and in Florida.

What a snotty woman. Even in the accountability-free world of McCain, she will never pull this off. She will have to show her financial records eventually and it will be interesting to see what she is hiding.

Please tell me Amy Poehler is working on a characterization of Cindy right now...

Today, John McCain's wife Cindy declared she would never release her tax returns. Unfortunately, the McCains are bucking the tide of public opinion regarding her income and $100 million fortune. The American people by lopsided margins overwhelmingly believe presidential candidates should disclose their tax returns. And as they showed four years ago in the imbroglio over Theresa Heinz Kerry, the leading lights of the Republican Party and the conservative movement used to agree.

    For the details, see:
"Polls, 2004 GOP Say Cindy McCain Wrong Not to Disclose Taxes."

Are we really going to attack the druggie wife?
  • moreleesafer · 1 year ago
I say "YES!" Normally, I would not say that the wives are fair game. However, she is being less that honest and open about it. She is an addict. She may be in recovery, but she will always be an addict. If she were more forthcoming about her issues and took a stand to be a positive example for those in a similar situation AND release her tax returns, I would say leave her alone. But she is behaving like a rethuglican. GET HER!
let's make the list shall we:

    1. Cheated with McCain while he was married
    2. Stole drugs from the medical charity she created
    3. Allows her husband to call her a cunt and live (personally, that bastard would be walking with a permanent limp when I got done with him)
    4. Used her considerable wealth to the benefit of her husbands political career.

please feel free to add to the list

I think that the wives should be fair game. However, it's her right not to disclose her tax information. Teresa shouldn't have been treated badly either. I liked her.

you got your high class citizens, like Mrs. McCain...
then you got your low class citizens, like the voters supporting the dems...

    Fox 'news' explains it all...

There is plenty of time to force her to expose her tax records. MCSHITSTAIN will be deluged with criticisms to reveal them especially if TERESA HEINZ KERRY released hers. I say Cindy the drug addict is fair game to go after. When asked in yesterday's interview why we're in IRAQ, she responded-"for freedom..for the Iraqis". Brilliant. She couldn't have replied a more egregiously incorrect answer. She is target rich to go after. The last thing the MCSHITSTAIN campaign want is to expose Cindy to the media vultures that are ready to tear her apart. I'm all for it.

Theresa Heinz only released a two page summary of her assets in 2003. The law doesn't require candidates to release their tax information.
If we're going to attack Cindy regarding her drug abuse, then I guess we can go after Obama too. What was he using? Pot and cocaine? I'm so sick of this crap!!!

    My take on this controversy:

Remember all the CRAP Republicans dished out to Teresa Heinz Kerry?...

    That's one smarmy-lookin' woman.

Ann Curry was practically performing cunnilingus on Mrs. Mac in the interview, failing to raise the question of Johnny Mac's use of the Missus' airplane for campaign events (there is no real firewall between the two spouses' finances: this needs to be emphasized). Another point: Mrs. Mac's money is so mobbed up it can't withstand scrutiny with open release of tax info.
