AMERICAblog: Clinton hasn't fired Mark Penn, but Colombia did

  • Indigo · 1 year ago
That's an interesting development. The government of Columbia could afford to fire Mark Penn "for disrespect" because . . . [ pause for drumroll ] . . . Columbia pays its bills. The Clinton Campaign can't fire him, he hasn't been paid. I'm gussing but I bet I'm not far off.

The history between Hillary and Penn makes it impossible to cut him loose without his OK.
He knows everything. He has all the power.
She thought, incorrectly, that she was using him.

Penn is doing to Hillary intellectually what Bill did to her spiritually and mentally.

Seems like they are all sick co-dependents and lying is essential to surviving in the climate they create. Obama seems grounded and I hope he stays that way.

Is it a coincidence that the Clintons are constantly surrounding themselves
with slimy characters. Their fund raisers, like Norman Hsu, Vinod Gupta, Peter Paul and others have been found to be dishonest, and also have questionable operators like Penn on their team.

    Birds of a feather?
  • mrtroll · 1 year ago
For a candidate who has sewn up the nomination, Obama sure does badly in some polls.
SUSA Kentucky poll: Clinton 58 - Obama 29. Kentucky's primary is May 20.

DailyKos is going through the Clinton tax returns with a fine tooth comb, lol. This is going to be great. The Clintonistas have been raking in big bucks while portraying themselves as working class stiffs. I'm so sick of the Billary lies one after another. She tried as hard as she could to prevent the release of her tax returns, but now the cat is out of the bag. Brings to mind the term "rich biaatch".

How do characters like Mark Penn sleep at night? How do they keep their stories straight? Layers and layers of deception -- it's mind boggling. Thank you for listening.

Hillary has always been Hilary's favorite charity.
I am sure that it hurt like hell to actually have to fork over the cash.

SONNY BONO - FBI AGENT: 'SONNY BONO WAS CLUBBED TO DEATH'

Tragic rocker SONNY BONO was clubbed to death by hired hitmen, according to a stunning new tabloid expose. An investigator who has been researching Bono's 1998 fatal skiing accident for the past decade claims top officials linked to an international drug and weapons ring feared the singer-turned-politician was about to expose their criminal acts - and so they had him killed on the slopes. Cher's ex-husband Bono's death was listed as a "skiing accident" with family and friends satisfied he died after colliding with a tree on the piste in Nevada in January 1998. But former FBI agent Ted Gunderson tells America's Globe that there's more to the tragedy than meets the eye, after studying the autopsy reports and other evidence. He says, "It's nonsense for anyone to now try to suggest that Bono died after crashing into a tree. There's zero evidence in this autopsy report... to show such an accident happened. Instead, there's powerful proof he (Bono) was assassinated. "This was an evil plot that was carried out to almost perfection by ruthless assassins." Gunderson tells the Globe Bono, an experienced skiier, was ambushed on the slopes by hired hitmen, who beat him to death and then staged a tree collision. The retired FBI agent is now calling for the authorities to dig up Bono's remains and open a homicide investigation. Gunderson's efforts have been backed by top forensics experts, who fear Nevada authorities were too quick to mark the tragedy as a skiing accident, and investigator Bob Fletcher, who has confessed he sent evidence of a 10-year study that linked top U.S. government officials to arms and weapons dealers to Bono less than a month before his death. Fletcher says, "He was going to make it his number one priority... There's no doubt in my mind Sony was murdered by someone who needed him silenced."

Hillary is showing her Bush side. She will stand by Penn through everything. She will never be able to admit that Penn was one of the biggest reasons her campaigned failed.

Hillary Clinton Owes For Hartford Campaign Events
    --

Hillary Rodham Clinton, whose campaign recently reported owing venues and vendors $8.7 million, hasn't paid for two high-profile Hartford events held before the Feb. 5 Connecticut primary.

The Clinton campaign owes $3,877.50 to the agency that manages The Learning Corridor, the magnet school complex where Clinton addressed 1,000 people on Jan. 28, campaign finance reports show.

And the Artists Collective is trying to collect $1,401 the campaign owes for renting its Albany Avenue performance center for a primary-eve event headlined by the candidate's daughter, Chelsea Clinton.

Barack Obama held a larger event the same evening at the XL Center, drawing 17,000 people to the arena formerly known at the Hartford Civic Center. He paid his bill for $36,675.

Gas prices rise to another record as refiners cut production to boost margins
    The Associated Press

NEW YORK - Retail gas prices in the United States surged to a new record above US$3.30 a gallon Friday and appear poised to rise further in coming weeks as gasoline supplies tighten.

Oil prices, meanwhile, supported the gas price rally by jumping more than $2 a barrel after a dismal employment report sent the dollar lower.

At the pump, gas prices rose 1.4 cents overnight to an average of $3.303 a gallon in the United States, according to AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. That's the latest in a series of records, and about 60 cents higher than a year ago.

While oil's surge above $100 over the last month has boosted gas prices so far this year, analysts now expect gas prices to continue rising regardless of what direction crude takes. The U.S. Energy Department expects prices to peak near $3.50 a gallon later in the spring, but many analysts predict the spike could approach $4.

Almost ALL their money donated to "charity" ended up in the Clintons' Foundations. And Hillary got caught in another lie today, imagine that. I swear...the Democrats who continue to vote for and support her need to have their heads examined.

Mark Penn is a Karl Rove wannabe. And he is fast getting there.
  • BorninUSA · 1 year ago
At one time (oh so long ago) I was for Clinton. But I am sick of her lies, her making jokes about her "mis-speaks" and with the criminals she seems to surround herself with. She joked about "being caught in sniper fire" which is definitely not funny. So if you lie and get caught in the lie and then make a joke about it that makes it OK? And another thing, if anyone believes anything, anything this woman promises to do if she is elected they need their head examined. She tells one lie after another and what makes you think if she gets in the W.H. she will keep her word about anything? No politician does. They will tell you anything to get elected and then you are on your own as they too soon forget the people who elected them.

It's sad. I was for Hillary before I was for Edwards. I was for Edwards before I was for Obama. I'm really for FDR, of course, but since he's not available, I'll be voting for Obama. I won't be voting for Hillary whom, back in the day, I thought could "get the job done." I don't believe that anymorre and, in a tired way, I feel bad about that, not for myself but for her. She has shown herself to be as nasty as Captain Janeway and every bit as unreliable as . . . well, Raquel Welch is said to be difficult . . . but I'm going to go with unreliable as unassembled library table made in China.
That was lame. I admit it.

Am I alone in finding the timing here odd? I can't help but believe this was all contrived to make her campaign look good as being "principled."

Seems the Colombian government has more integrity than Hillary.
I would still vote for her versus McCain. But, damn.....

Hillary might have a liitle 'splaining' to do on her taxes. Her ten mil in charitable contributions went to the Clinton's tax free foundation which didn't actually disperse any significant amount of money until she declared her candidacy:
