Well Monica apparently knew enough to keep "the dress" in her closet without bothering to send it out for cleaning which has always suggested to me to perhaps "poor innocent intern" Monica may have been a republicon plant. But then, with all the other whoring around that Bill did, why would they have bothered?

Grandma, as always, you have it right. Maybe you can tell us, has Hillary just blown a gasket, a giant series of "brain-farts," like kindly old Uncle John? Is she working hard to give women a bad name like Uncle John is doing for senior citizens??? Or is this racist-liar just scared stiff about whats going to happen when those tax returns are released? Perhaps it will justify the $14mil suite for fraud against her and philandering Bill? And whose gonna vote for such a fool that sat by while Bill played with all those women? Could it be that he was her ticket to power? Pretty shabby reason, almost republicon sounding... oh but thats right Hil is a DINO as well as a monster bitch!

A guy on Tweety's show commented that if it was that dangerous (too dangerous for even Bubba to go), why would he have sent his wife and only child to a battle-torn area?

Good point Lauren1959, I think there are lots of MSNBC views who wonder why they keep dragging Pat Buchanan out over and over again. I can't believe that the editorial board of the NYT still endorses her. And they base their endorsement on her so-called "experience". Surely in light of the lies or fantasy of Tuzla they would start to question her experience. She has lied about the major reason why she thinks everyone should vote for her.

So apparently Hillary Clinton was "sleep-deprived" when she forgot that she'd never dodged sniper fire while running from a plane in Tuzla...............maybe we have an explanation of her war vote -- maybe she was sleep-deprived when she authorized the war? Maybe she's been staying up all night studying the classified National Intelligence Estimate trying to get to the bottom of things? Well, okay, she wasn't doing that, but maybe it was something. Presumably her plan is to be well-rested during her freaky 3AM phone calls.

If this were true (and it isn't) and she did come under sniper fire in Tuzla (which she didn't), then I really have to question the judgement of a mother who would expose her only daughter to the danger of being killed for a photo op.

I did hear Blitzer and someone at MSNBC remark that Hillary's strategic reference to Wright, and the timing were suspicious, knowing she is in hot water, when it comes to the Bosnia lie.
During Hardball a journalist remarked that Hillary claiming that she was sent to places that were too poor or dangerous instead of the President was questionable. What kind of a President/father and mother, would send Chelsea on this so called dangerous journey? Are they bad parents or is Hillary a brazen liar. I think the latter.
So what exactly did Hillary "I am owed the nomination" Clinton, do in Bosnia? Did she negotiate peace or policies? I see her strolling casually among the welcoming committee, receiving flowers and kisses, posing for photo ops, smiling and making nice. Does this count as experience? Who believes this BS anymore? Would she be grinning like an idiot, if there was ANY danger of sniper fire? Why is she insulting our intelligence?
It is time Hillary stepped out of this race. She has done everything possible to beat Obama, and has gone down to gutter politics to win. It is pathetic to see the Clintons lie, exaggerate, play the race and fear cards, and denigrate someone from the same party, and most of all, make admiring comments about McCain and endorse him. If this is how the first woman runs her campaign, she is an embarrassment to all women.

Notice too how she does that nervous laughter before she lies again and says she is human and this is the first time 'in 12 years that I have misspoke". 12 years ago was 1996. What was happening then? Why did people defend her comments if she misspoke? Can we trust Hillary in the future? Millions of words a day comes out to 123 words per second. She is a liar pure and simple, lied about Bosnia, lied about Ireland, lied about NAFTA, will she tell more truth as president?

The gotcha method doesn't play well with me. I don't like Hillary at all any more. She puts me in mind of too many failed administrators from the Reagan Era, the Total Quality Management movement, the Six Sigma Method and all the other bumper car management techniques that plagued the last quarter of the 20th century and seem to already subvert the promise of the early 21st.. about this whole Rev. Wright thing...
can anyone get me a link to the speech he gave that kicked this whole frenzy off??
I've gotten a bunch of soundbytes from it, and I can't find anything he said that I don't agree with.
The biggest issue they have with his speech? blaming 9/11 on our policy worldwide...
YES, our foreign policy CAUSED the attacks on 9/11... There, I finally said it. In fact, if you don't believe anything else Osama Bin Laden has said, he DID say THAT.
how many times can you infringe on a culture (WITH warnings from them) before you're going to see retalliation??
If someone bombs the USA, we tend to bomb them back... hell, we invaded a country without cause and we're STILL referring to people fighting us IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY as enemies?
the question remains, If THEY (Iraq) were a superpower, wouldn't they think of us as terrorist invaders??

McCain Addresses Housing Crisis Options By LIZ SIDOTI The Associated Press Tuesday, March 25, 2008; 4:03 PM
SANTA ANA, Calif. -- Republican John McCain on Tuesday derided government intervention to save and reward banks or small borrowers who behave irresponsibly though he offered few immediate alternatives to fixing the country's growing housing crisis.
"I will consider any and all proposals based on their cost and benefits," the certain GOP presidential nominee, who has acknowledged in the past that the economy is not his strong suit, told local business leaders south of Los Angeles. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/ar...

There is something wrong with the entire picture. Either Clinton is farther off her rocker than Richard Nixon in that she won't give up or else she is hanging on regardless because she has been promised the nomination even if Obama is ahead of her in the delegate count ... maybe even guaranteed the presidency. Right now, my guess is she is farther gone than Richard Nixon who finally was sane enough to give up and surrender to the inevitable. However, given the massive corruption we've seen that our government is capable of, it is indeed possible that she has been guaranteed the inauguration at noon on January 20, 2009.
This also calls into question her advisors. If they aren't advising her to concede to Obama at this point, there is also something wrong with them. At this point, she has demonstrated beyond a doubt that she is too flawed to be trusted with the Oval Office, especially when she is opposing a strong, charismatic candidate like Obama and apparently willing to destroy the Democratic party if she can't be the Democratic candidate.

"Either Clinton is farther off her rocker than Richard Nixon in that she won't give up or else she is hanging on regardless because she has been promised the nomination even if Obama is ahead of her in the delegate count"
The Clintons are plenty corrupt, but they aren't stupid. Shillary knows she has no chance at winning the nomination. But I guarantee she and Slick Willie are pulling all kinds of strings behind the scenes right now to get their buddy Al Gore to step in. I'm hoping Matt Drudge or another journalist like Andrew Sullivan is able to break a story on that and short-cut their little plan. Don't forget that Gore was Bill's right-hand man during the corrupt 90's and probably has some favors to pay off. Basically anyone who has been close to the Clintons can't be trusted.

Love the Pastor reference...
I hear the Super D's are moving to Obama FAST.. Its about time some one did something to end this, Howard Dean has exercised no leadership. Much of the confusion over delegates, what the "rules" were/are, etc., is a consequence of his inept leadership. If the Dems lose in November, its because he failed to exercise any control over the party and disenfranchised millions of democratic voters. This is a real travesty. Come on Super D's show your stuff, and end this before its to late.

Luna Stick,
Please don't blame Howard Dean. As Chairman of the DNC he's not allowed to get involved in the primary. Dr. Dean is responsible for the 50-state strategy which Barack's campaign is bringing to fruition. Terry McAuliffe and the rest of the Clinton DLC machine is bitterly opposed to Dean's bottom up grassroots/netroots approach. I'm sure privately Dean is in Barack's camp. Remember, Dean picked a little known Illinois State Senator to be in his original "Dean Dozen" which helped Barack get elected to the US Senate.

I do like Dean grasshopper. I don't know what he can and can't do as chair of the DNC but there are other "leaders" who are free to stand up to the Clintons and make things clear to her. She can only win the nomination by destroying the party and she will get KILLED in the general election if she goes that route. Someone needs to get through that thick skull of hers and tell her to get out. If she doesn't do it after a private meeting, the leaders need to step up and go public with their concerns. Enough is enough already. SHE NEEDS TO GO!!!!!

4 posts on Bosnia today. A week or so ago, John accused the Clintons of inventing the politics of personal destruction (the term was invented during Bill's administration, the tactic itself was used against them). Now it appears that the Obama fans are the masters of personal destruction unless they're just desperate to divert attention from 20 years in Rev. Wright's church. Build your guy up (not one post today on BO's positive attributes). Show us what BO means by a new kind of politics, by change. Chicago-style politics is looking just as ugly as the southern-fried version...

Oh please DaveinMpls. The "politics of personal destruction" is a tactic that may have once been used on the Clinton's but they have become the masters of it. Hillary is a definite never vote for as far as I'm concerned. She looks worse than McCain at this point. At least you know what he is going to do. Hillary is such a bald faced shameless liar there is NO WAY to tell what she will do. It's not about building up Obama. It's about recognizing that he is the last man standing among those who are acceptable to be president. The Wright thing is purely a troll tactic. Look at the whole of what he says and quit the soundbite shit and maybe you will learn something. Hillary's lies are OBVIOUS! All you got is a pastor.

I'm not an HRC fan - you enjoy putting words in my mouth. Just saying Barack (or his supporters) seem to using the same tactics as Hillary. I don't think the Rev Wright thing will stick.
The point I've made consistently is that we need to be a united party in November. If Obama is the nominee, he will need to unite the party by overcoming resentment from MI/FL (argue the merit, but it will be there) and HRC supporters. What I see in your comments of contempt for your fellow Democrats is a John McCain victory
LunaStick
Okay DavinMpls. What same tactics do you think the Obama campaign is using? Remember that we supporters here are not affiliated with the campaign. If Obama made such blatantly false statements as hillary has, he would deserve to face a lot of heat for it. So what real mistake has he made that is serious? What has he done that is unfair to hillary? I can list many things she has done. As to your point about reuniting the democratic party, not sure if that is possible unless hillary drops out (Yes, she must be the one to drop out and soon) It will also be up to her to do a lot of damage control and do a lot of convincing to her supporters. Obam needs to do a lot to win them over himself but she has to be the one to tell her supporters that Obama is the candidate she supports and she needs to do it emphatically.

Well, LunaStick - have you been reading the news? This has been a back and forth all along (HRC may have started it). Let's just take the Bill Clinton comments last week that BO's adviser said smacked of McCarthyism. John Aravosis was outraged. If you saw the video, there's no way you would come to that interpretation. Even Bill Richardson repudiated the McCarthyism charge as ridiculous just after endorsing. But of course headlines read Bill Clinton = McCarthy (otherwise known as the politics of personal destruction).
I think the root problem is the presumption of most here at AB that everything BO does is in good faith and everything HRC does is in bad. I don't see that to be the case.

DaveinMpls, I agree with John. I saw the whole context of what Bill said. He praised hillary and McCain as being patriots and then suggested it would be NICE to have two candidates who love their country to choose from. It was as direct an attack on Obama's patriotism as one could make without saying the words "Obama doesn't love America". The Clintons have done nothing in their campaign to make me want to vote for hillary but they have done a goos job of building up McCain as a potential president. Great fucking Job hillary!!

Was she supposed to attend an interview with a newspaper, like Obama did last week, and refuse to answer questions? She was asked pointedly about the Wright case and she said what SHE would do. She was not critical of Obama or anyone that I have heard, so I am sorry, but if she refused to answer questions, she would be getting hammered for being secretive. She didn't raise anything about the Wright controversy but the paper did. So why aren't they getting the criticsm for asking her about it? Or are we going to get any criticsm about the Obama supporters talking about the blue dress or asking Chelsea Clinton whether the Lewinsky affair hurt her Mother's credibility? Where is the class in those kinds of attacks?

Youe attempt to say she would be attacked for not answering that question is weak. It is only this now that she has been caught in this lie that she is trying to deflect the conversation back to Wright. mirth - well he did change his story about what he heard in Wright's church. He "revised" the amount of money he got from Rezko and we found out that he misrepresented his relationship with Rezko in one of the early debates (A few hrs work vs 17 years of close contact). In a comment the other night I linked to a WaPo story about how he took credit for work he did not do in the Senate... To read AB and it's loyalists, BO is perfect. This is a pretty good article.
The Obama Doctrine
Barack Obama is offering the most sweeping liberal foreign-policy critique we've heard from a serious presidential contender in decades. But will voters buy it?
So...now we know that when the phone rings at 3 P.M., Hillary is apt to tell the American people that she distinctly remembers it ringing at 3 A.M.
And 3 A.M. might be the time she figures out the phone actually rang at 3 P.M.

Yeah, even Wolf gets it.
Well, I'm not sure that I would go that far -- Wolf still calls John McCain a "maverick" and a "straight-talker" and refers to Muqtada al-Sadr as the "Radical Firebrand Shiite Cleric" -- and he bought Bush's WMD and Saddam/al-Qaeda fictions hook, line, and sinker.
Actually, I doubt if Wolf really "gets it" -- he was probably just reading the teleprompter that contained a prepared script written by the show's writers and producers. He suffers from an advanced case of CNN Syndrome.

Lanny Davis, saying on A.C.360, that this is just "silly season" in answering this Bosnia thing and the Clinton tax records,. but no one said that it was just "silly season" when it concerned Barack and his Rev. sermon; which by the way was mostly true and coming from the perspective of Jesus's teachings in the Bible, regarding how to treat one's enemies and in that way, he spoke the truth!

When Clinton was campaigning for Senate in New York she stopped in Kingston, New York. A banner was placed over the Maritime Museum sign it read "Holocaust Museum" so Clinton was able to have a press release saying "Clinton visits Holocaust Museum in Kingston, New York". Lying is the way of Clinton.

I don't really care about Edwards because he doesn't have much support anyways. Gore has built his own fake mystique on claims that he invented the internet and has somehow saved the world from global climate change. I'm pro-Environment, but I just think Gore has used too much bitter partisan spin in his speeches much like extremist Michael Moore. If Gore had any integrity he would have endorsed Obama by now when it counts. Instead he is hoping to be crowned himself. The whole self-righteous Gore schtick makes me nauseus.

"dignity promotion" is exactly what I've been telling anyone who'll listen, not in those words, but I work for a company that links up sponsors to third world children/families. My family sponsors a boy in Kenya and I'm visiting in September if the situation doesn't worsen. I think of it also as my little way of promoting peace. They get food, medicine, and uniforms/money for school. We help with basics + education to help them out of rock bottom. Hey, maybe it keeps them from being scooped up by terrorists groups.

Question: Do you still think the Democratic race can be resolved before the convention?
Reid: Easy.
Q: How is that?
Reid: It will be done.
Q: It just will?
Reid: Yep.
Q: Magically?
Reid: No, it will be done. I had a conversation with Governor Dean (Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean) today. Things are being done.

and that Reid quote is scary. real scary.
June resolution. McCain meet us in the desert, this coming June, we are having that debate. Prepare yourself. The Obama statement "McCain will follow Bin Laden to the gates of hell, but he wont follow him to where he actually is"... sic. ouch.
Why did people defend her comments if she misspoke?
Can we trust Hillary in the future?
Millions of words a day comes out to 123 words per second.
She is a liar pure and simple, lied about Bosnia, lied about Ireland, lied about NAFTA, will she tell more truth as president?
can anyone get me a link to the speech he gave that kicked this whole frenzy off??
Shrillary, when trying to comment on the Wright/pastor issue, said, "You can't pick your family..."
Actually you can't choose you siblings, but you chose you husband! And since he was cumming all over Monica's dress you might have divorced him, but then you wouldn't have had a chance to be in pollitics.
Next time SHRILLARY needs to choose her words more carefully.
Misspoke aka misremembered= I was lying, but now I'm caught.

Not too sharp in politics either...
(I'm NOT shaving my head though!!!!)
I can't believe the inaction of the so called leadership in the democratic party. The are just sitting on the sidelines watching the deathmatch that will leave the winner too bloodied to fight again and the loser dead (politically). The time for them to take action came a long time ago. They MUST tell hillary to get the hell out of the way already!
There is talk that Hillary was trying to be VP too!
I am sure he leans towards Obama, but didn't someone say that he will remain neutral, because some folks need to be neutral to settle this fiasco?
Please don't blame Howard Dean. As Chairman of the DNC he's not allowed to get involved in the primary. Dr. Dean is responsible for the 50-state strategy which Barack's campaign is bringing to fruition. Terry McAuliffe and the rest of the Clinton DLC machine is bitterly opposed to Dean's bottom up grassroots/netroots approach. I'm sure privately Dean is in Barack's camp. Remember, Dean picked a little known Illinois State Senator to be in his original "Dean Dozen" which helped Barack get elected to the US Senate.
Build your guy up (not one post today on BO's positive attributes). Show us what BO means by a new kind of politics, by change. Chicago-style politics is looking just as ugly as the southern-fried version...

If Barack is susceptible to knee-capping (I don't think he is), better that it happen now and we send the stronger candidate to the general. If he wins the nomination, he'll be inoculated (i.e. everyone will be bored with Rev Wright and whatever by November).
