My heart goes out to Jack and his family. I will be married 30 yrs in Dec and I can't think about the end of life. I am alittle older than my husband but we are best friends. Not to see your spouse everyday is so sad. Am crying just to think about it. God Bless you Jack.

I know a lot of you have serious issues with some of his views but I love watching his show and hearing him put the politicians in their places. I wish all reporters could be like this man. So sorry for his loss.

Awww, I usually post on here that I go away for a few hours, come back and find there is some crazy revelation about Palin or McCain. I go away today and come back to this. How very sad. My Mom and I lost my Dad very suddenly and 2 years ago I lost my Mom very suddenly. It's never easy. My thoughts and deepest condolences are with the Cafferty family and friends, as well as the CNN family...

DH and I just had our 52nd anniversary and he is my entire life - my caretaker and my love. If I lost him I'd know what Jack is feeeling right now. Losses like this should make us treat our significant others, gay or straight - married or not
as so special above all and be very kind to them. Jack has my condolences.

I am so sad for Jack Cafferty. I hope he can take some time off to grieve and reflect at this devastating time. And I hope he will be back when he feels like he can carry on, because God knows we need him.

Jack Cafferty is one of the few journalists I respect for his true independence. He never pulls punches no matter who he is reporting on. The guy is a classic. I'm so sorry for him and his two daughters. From the way Cafferty wrote of his wife, I can tell this world lost a wonderful lady in her passing.

I just heard that your wife passed away recently. I watch The Situation Room almost every day, but I must have missed the day when it was announced. I commented to my sister that you seemed out of sorts lately and she mentioned that you had lost your wife. I am so sorry and yyou and your family are in my prayers. I know firsthand how awful it is to experience the loss of a spouse. All I can say is, one day at a time (sometimes one hour at a time). I guess my Irish is showing! Again, I am so sorry!
