"but he has a black pastor"-Lanny Davis to Lee Hamilton

Being endorsed by any member of the 911 whitewash commission is not a plus...

Hamilton is well-respected and knows a thing or two about national security and foreign policy matters...i imagine Hillary would've appreciated his endorsement.

Bill should have a muzzle put on him until this is over. In Fort Worth, Indiana last night Bill wrongly told voters "she won Texas" which she did not. He also said "Nobody believes she can win in Indiana because it borders Illinois. If you show them they're wrong, she'll be the nominee, and she'll be the president."

So Bill now has a crystal ball??

For those of you as outraged by the work of John Yoo at the Department of Justice might want to let him and the respective Deans of the University of California Berkeley School of Law know your displeasure as I did. Here are their emails - including Professor Yoo's: Cut and paste as you wish....

This would be the same Lee Hamiliton who was key in allowing Reagan to get away with Iran-Contra? The same Lee Hamilton who thinks oversight is where you pull off the highway to gawk at the ocean? The same Lee Hamilton who would bury the truth for the 'good of the country'? Please. Lee Hamilton is a large part of what's wrong with the Democratic party.

Yes, it's the same Lee Hamilton who enabled Reaganism and is a measure of what's wrong in the Democratic Party. There are worse in the party, though, as well as better. The point for Hoosier voters is that a fellow Hoosier has endorsed (oh-good-grief!) a person of the black persuasion. That's significant. Possibly, Lee Hamilton just handed the nomination to Obama. Won't it be fun to watch Billary twist this event around?

Sorry, I don't have time to think about that. I'm too busy looking this gift horse in the mouth.

bumpkis, but that won't matter to the hordes of voters actually. Getting Hamilton's endorsement was a plus for Obama, lends him more credibility in a state like Indiana which is supposed to be a lock for Clinton.

That's not much to crow about since the 9/11 commission did a lousy job of analyzing the WTC attack and rolled over like a lap dog for the Bush Admin. So what does this endorsement tell us? That government toadies are for Obama?

Busboy, your link does not show the polling information, only the results. Did I miss it?

``He impresses me as a person who wants to use all the tools of presidential power.''

    Uh oh.

Guess this means that Hillary is weak on terrorism.

Here in Iowa, when Obama won, there really wasn't much talk about race - at least locally; though admittedly it would have been an issue here 20 years ago. I haven't been in Indiana for quite a while. I thought Indiana was right next door but apparently it's farther away than I thought.

What kind of country are we and what kind of country do we want to be?

In her senior thesis at Princeton, Michele Obama stated that America was a nation founded on
"crime and hatred". Moreover, she stated that whites in America were "ineradicably racist".
The 1985 thesis, titled "Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community" was written
under her maiden name, Michelle LaVaughn Robinson.
