Off topic: but why doesn't anyone mention McCain being part of the Keating five? I would think that particular "asterisk" on his record would be extremely relevant to what we are experiencing now with the mortgage crisis. It is not an overstatement to say McCain was one of the causes of the savings and loans crisis back in the 80's. And for some reason no one talks about it! Why?!?!?!?!?!?!

I just got an email from a distant relative with pictures of Obama’s African relative (or so it says) and innuendos suggesting that he’s not “one of us”.

Furthermore, I tried to do some Google searching for some REAL news about ties between Obama and his (supposed) cousin Luo Raila Oding, so I could de-bunk it, but couldn’t find any real news stories that address the issue - only conservative opinion pieces suggesting that Obama supports an awful African dictator!
Also, I found ANOTHER website called “Real Democrats USA” that purports to be a “Real Democrats is a grassroots initiative whose primary purpose is to inform and educate”, but appears to be filled with nothing but Anti-Obama material!
THIS STUFF SCARES ME. There are page after page of results that have these phony stories about Obama posted, and they are high on the Google results…
Something needs to be done about this…

Rick Davis, McCain's campaign manager, received over $600,000 in lobbying fees from German owned DHL six years ago. His job was to convince Congress to allow DHL to buy Airborne Express based in Wilmington Ohio. The deal went through!
Now, DHL wants to route its packages through Louisville, Ky., a move that would cost southwest Ohio thousands of much-needed jobs. Those working for Airborne Express (owned by DHL) in Wilmington will no longer have jobs.
This is the kind of stuff that Obama and his campaign should be talking about non-stop in places like Ohio. I don't even near this on the news! Mirth, what in the hell is wrong with people in this country? Why can't the connection of big-business and McCain be exposed in real-time?

You have a former press secretary that says the Bush Administration was corrupt. You have new evidence that the CIA was ordered to manufacture false information on the status of IRAQ before the invasion. Yet, this is not news worthy to the main stream media!

Yes America is asleep, but we have been put to sleep in increments over a long period of time. We are not blameless. No one could rationally argue against how willingly we have accepted our fate. But neither do we carry all of the guilt. The election and the next 4 years will decide if we are worth saving.
