I just heard Rachel Maddow say the history proves that every time a party is this divided this late they are the losing party. I am not going to refute a Rhodes Scholar, I think she is right.

this troubles me, because i adore Rachel and she is quite brainy... but...it's McCain...he's all they've got...i can't help thinking that with him as the GOPer candidate, this might be an exception to the rule....

the proposed Democratic Presidential Debate scheduled for April 27 has been canceled due to time constraints and logistical issues associated with such a large, national event.
However, there were also growing concerns about what another debate would do to party unity.
Sorry but fake repulsive repuke or not, if this country votes yet again for another un-American Repuke, this country will get what it deserved. ** Care about the environment? Take pictures now and save it for the future generations before all the land is laid waste with oil rigs and pollution. ** Think women have the right to choose? No, this is NOT a McCain ad. Of COURSE conservatives are saying it makes the case for McCain; they think that of COURSE you'll want a Republican in the White House when bad stuff happens. And we just let them have that ground? We throw up our hands and write "That can't be good"??

hence the concerted chorus by all the talkers about how he can't even finish off Hillary...in fact, it's the other way around. this was supposed to have been a cakewalk for the Clinton machine.
and they still all hate McCain's guts...they're screwed.
