AMERICAblog: Consumer sentiment hits 26 year low

  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
I'd probably be impressed with 'trickle up' economics if I were rich though.

see... that 28-percentile that still thinks chimpy is wonderful?

its made up of the top 1% income bracket... and stupid people.

something to ask every repugnican you meet. are you in the top 1% income bracket, or are you just stupid?

And then WHY are people still saying they will vote for McSAME?

Are some of our Americans INSANE?

Are some of our Americans INSANE?

    that's a rhetorical question, right?

"The Bush Twins will be fine."

So will mary cheney and her baby.

Here come the 70's all over again, only worse.
  • KerrynowCampau · 1 year ago
Perhaps I should have said, "Here come the 30's again, only worse."

Well, we're not really sunk until the rest of the world loses confidence in America and the dollar falls.

    Oops...

We're seeing a repeat of the disastrous economic policies of the deceitful Clintonistas. By creating an artificial internet bubble, Slick Willie almost bankrupt the nation during his reign. Bush has made it even worse. Now Hillary proposes to top that and put us in debt for centuries with her pie in the sky socialized medical program - the same one Americans overwhelmingly rejected in the 90's.

When are the Clintons going to learn that they can't buy their way into office any longer. The polls in PA are showing a huge shift in which African-Americans are opposing the Billary spin machine overwhelmingly. The Clintons are building a legacy of shame and bigotry. With the billions that Hillary continues to pledge towards the Iraq bloodshed, we are screwed. Who elected that idiot?

Let's see......Banks not allowed to go bust, so we bail them out with tax payer funds. Fuel prices going through the roof. Everyone in the country except for CEO's and elected officials seem to be on a diet or is it that food prices have doubled in the last year? For those who don't have dental insurance, don't worry as any food items you can eat with what little teeth you still have would be the type that has to be gummed anyway. Your kids can't find a student loan any longer because no one wants to underwrite them any longer. The county next to the one you live in is teetering on bankruptcy and just came out of a private meeting at the W.H. trying to secure a short term loan. Your property taxes keep going up while you receive fewer services, but you can sleep better because those that are sitting in the local jail are at least getting three meals a day and a bed to sleep in. You got on your knees and thanked God almighty that the clokcs moved forward and now you don't have to turn the lights on any longer than you had to, and if your really one of the lucky ones, you've been stuck at an airport for the last week and missed most of what Fox had to offer as reality in Amerika.
So you wonder why consumer confidence continues to fall? Here's a tip. There are two sides to a bank's balance sheet - the left side and the right side.
The problem is that, on the left side, there is nothing right,
and on the right side, there is nothing left! hopefully some day the morons in D.C. may just get a clue before we the people have to set them stright.

George is confident that the economy will rebound in the second half.

As if he has any kind of competence known to the human race.

    Sheez.
  • Andrew · 1 year ago
The only thing George and the rest of the country is waiting for less 28% of those that think he's doing a great job, is watching him and the rest of the neo cons slither away into the night with their billions in war profits so that others can come in behind them and clean up the mess.
  • KerrynowCampau · 1 year ago
    "George is confident"

That he will be just A-OK.

Crash hurry up and come while I still have some energy to deal with it. The waiting is starting to get to me.

We need to make sure that McCain cannot escape his connection to Bushonomics. If he manages to fool enough people into thinking he's a maverick, he may still get strong support.

Remember that, even after all that has happened, lots of voters STILL think of the Dems as weaker on the budget. "Tax and spend" liberals are seen as the worst evil.

"Credit card Republicanism" needs to become the new phrase, repeated over and over and over until it sticks, until people understand just how badly the GOP has mismanaged our economy.
