    I have diabetes. I go without test strips all the time. They're the first thing to go. Meds are a priority.

    We don't even talk about Dental Care. I'm in my 70's and my Dentist (who I could only afford to see 2 years ago) wants to do implants for my missing teeth. He's quoting $15K. I'm got a bad heart and Emphysema and he wants me to have a nice mouthful of teeth? I'll have them pulled as necessary. A lot of seniors are in my position.

    My wife has phlebitis, and we have delayed going to the doctor for 2 weeks.. following treatment from online med sites. Our doc also willing to call in meds for us w/o exam, although wants us to come in and get an ultrasound. We dont have the 800 bucks for the ultra sound.
    I lost my job in April, lost health insurance in May, cant afford cobra, and made 1500 dollars too much last year to get VA med care until January 09. So much for getting thanked for my service to America. (5 years active duty, Army, Infantry) . We are literally ready to declare bankruptcy if either of us has to go to the hospital...
