AMERICAblog: Cornyn confuses India and China

  • John · 5 months ago
Remember when Sarah Palin asked if "South Africa" was a state inside the nation of Africa?

Only the Republicans can misplace over two billion people and regard as an "innocent" accident. Despite their shocking ignorance and ethnocentricism, however, there's definitely no racism in the GOP. After all, only wise Latina judges can be racist.

Cornyn may have been thinking about this.

Well, in fairness, Cornyn does come from a state where half the people think Obama is Moslem. So ya just don't expect the next Einstein to come out of Texas.

Well, maybe my grandson. But, he is being raised by progressive parents.

Again, as a Texan, I apologize to the rest of the country for this ignoramus we have as a Senator. I assure you I didn't vote for him.

We forgive you, sweetie. We can't all help where we live. You must serve as a beacon of enlightenment in the dark throes of ignorance. ;-)

Nothing surprising. The good Senator also mistook a box turtle for a consenting human adult.

Not to fear... a lot of Texans confuse Cornyn for a real Senator too!

It's a sad truth, when you have to write to the Speaker of the House (in this case she was my former representative, when I lived in San Francisco for some 23 years). because Cornyn choose to blow you off

Because you feel being a progressive is a morally correct position to being a far right republican, who chooses to indorse racism, bigotry and a whole lot of other ism's!

To be fair, he only did it once.

But "we often confuse Cornn for a real Senator" is similarly unfair -- it was a mistake many of us also made only once.
