You see, this is what people don't understand: these top Clinton surrogates and campaign workers are not saying these ridiculous things because they are crazy, they say them because they are desperate. They have lashed themselves to the Ship of Clinton, and the ship has struck a reef. When it finally hits bottom they are going to drown with it. NO ONE is going to want these people. Does anyone honestly believe that Mark Penn, Lanny Davis, Howard Wolfson, Maggie Williams and the rest of these clowns are going to be in demand based on their political acumen? I honestly cannot believe that Hillary doesn't ask Olbermann for 15 minutes of airtime so she can publicly beat Mark Penn over the head with a 2x4. He certainly deserves it. They ran this campaign as if it were still 1992. They're arrogance and sense of entitlement towards the nomination was astounding and revolting at the same time. If Hillary had assembled a new team of outsiders that consisted of no one from the original Clinton Machine - and had disavowed her Iraq vote and a few other large mistakes in her political career, thereby eliminating the comparison to GWB's inability to take responsibility for anything he did wrong - she would have been in step with the prevailing mood of the American public and probably would have crushed Obama or any other candidate, except Gore perhaps. But I am glad this all happened, because it shows the person that Hillary really is - and that person is not a Democrat, IMHO.

He's the worst of the worst. Listening to Lanny is like nails scratching a chalk board. The only person that rivals his annoyingness is the kooky lady who used to be on Tucker's show all the time. I sure don't miss either of those two.
