I am calling for a federal standard for all federal elections. I am getting nervous reading all of the "alleged" voter fraud calls from both sides as well as voting machines switching votes from Democrat to Republicans in West Virginia. If voting is so scared here in this country, why can't we run a clean election? We demand it from emerging democracies why not demand it from our own government?

MSNBC just said that the police in St Louis is estimating the number of folks at the Obama event is around 100.000 people... when was the last time, if ever that McCain got half that many people to go to one of his events!
Does not look good for the old and his trailer trash girl friend... does it!

And the Times hasn't endorsed a presidential candidate since 1972, when it backed President Richard M. Nixon's re-election. This is also the first time it's endorsing a Democrat for president.
I knew the Trib endorsement was rare, but I didn't know the LA Times one was rare too.
