The economy is in the dumps, prices are going up and up on everything. The dollar is shot and most of Europe looks down their noses at us. Why the hell not destroy what is left of this country? It will be George, Son of a Bitch, Bush's legacy to this country. Ignore global warming and give your buddies all the land and sea they want so they can make more of a buck---the hell with what it means for the environment.

Gov. Charles "I love women, I really do" Crist has been cagey about a lot of things. Hasn't he?
  • msra · 1 year ago
Florida voters were asleep when they elected this man, unfortunately they now get to know him, just like the President they voted for. This flip-flop on drilling is not surprising, Crist also ran on a promise to lower soaring property taxes and our $4000 hurricane/wind insurance. Then he threw us a mere bone by cutting taxes $200. Insurance was frozen, but they raised the rates $300 bucks anyway, then gave us $50 back claiming it was due to the rate cut from our governor. LOL. In final compensation they cut all our public school funding and fire and safety services. Nevermind, Crist's ingenious promotion to move our primary voting date. No governor in his right mind would propose drilling that would risk the few coral reefs we have left and florida's very economy depends almost solely on tourism and beaches. McCain was also just here promising to protect the environment and the everglades, while voting against funds for it and now of course also flip flopping on drilling.

Charlie Crist always was kind of cagey about his favored position when it comes to drilling.

LOL, John, you just had to add that in there. LOL

You gotta love Charlie Crist, the last living graduate of the Paul Lynde School For Confirmed Bachelors.
  • HelenaMontana · 1 year ago
Beats me why Crist would want to be first mate on the good ship McCain Debacle. Maybe this is suicide by political campaign.
  • jchristy2001 · 1 year ago
MSRA is correct in all her statements about Crist in FL. I find it interesting that even the local news is referring to this as a "flip flop" on his part. Also find it interesting that he does this immediately after returning from a weekend in AZ at McCain's house???

Please call Crist's office and tell them that his political pandering and flip flopping is no way to run a state.
