He doesn't have to be consistent!
He was a POW !*
(* McCain was forced to stand for long hours, sit in uncomfortable positions, was refused medical care--this does not constitute torture under the Republican definition.)

Wow! In Mark Crispin Miller's latest book he has an interesting analysis of the tools the GOP will justify stealing the next election. Some of them are that Americans are too racist to vote for a Black man and that Hillary sold out to the Republican party so she can run in 2012. Quite chilling as it seems I've been parroting the lines to hand the election to McCain.Hard to know what to think.
Maybe it is too much to watch out for double think, triple think, quadruple think, quintuple think etc. We just have to go with what we believe. Maybe the Republicans will outthink themselves and cheat themselves into losing the election. I can hope, can't I?

I disagree. Only one side of McCain's mouth is able to talk policy. The other side is reserved for the collected pool of spittle and drool. The fact that they are indistinguishable is what is creating all the confusion for the media.

OT:
I hope the people going to the DNC convention are smart enough to try this.
