    Sarah Palin get's duped:
    http://www.cbc.ca/arts/media/story/2008/11/01/p...
"Palin officials issued a statement Saturday, saying she was "mildly amused to learn that she had joined the ranks of heads of state, including President Sarkozy, and other celebrities in being targeted by these pranksters."

    Where's your money?

    Down the drain with Bush-McCain.

    Hey John.

Have you seen this prop. 8 ad?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q28UwAyzUkE

    Best one I've seen yet.

(Except they should have shown the mormons trashing the funiture and saying something like "now we'll go after single mothers" or "couples living in sin" when they were leaving.)
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
Thought it got pulled down, but I guess it's still there.

    Good ad, tho.

Wow, they should have done that earlier, and done a series - one where they invade your hospital room, another where they take your kid away.

That is the worst slaughtering of Daft Punk's "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" I have ever heard or seen. Ever. EVER. ...it's so bad. so bad.

I'm giving the real Daft Punk a shout out here in the comments section. I mean, they're a fascinating, talented pair of guys, who are the biggest names in electronic music ever, and they're not even mentioned by name in the original post. :(

And not that anyone cares, but here is Kanye's re-invisioning of the song as his hit "Stronger" performed at the Grammys. It was awesome, better than his recorded version. Daft Punk were the real stars, though. Look at all the kids with their hands in triangles when they see the DP pyramid! They know they're really in there, and they were! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-axMn6rbC3o

First off, I linked to their video and said this was based on them. Now you're getting pissy because I didn't mention their name too? Second, your comment is simply rude. The video's good. It's damn good. I realize the Net permits people to be the assholes they wouldn't dare be in the real world, but still, at some point people need to learn to offer constructive criticism and not simply vent like, well, assholes.
  • PinkDog · 1 year ago
If you want to delete or you want me to delete the comment, fine. Lots of people didn't like the last video you commissioned either (I did, though) and you didn't spew all over them like you've done to me. Whatever, John. You're touchy this morning.
  • John Aravosis · 1 year ago
It's one thing not to like, it's another to be bitchy. You're being bitchy, as your completely incorrect comment about not giving credit makes clear. There's criticism, and there's rudeness. They're different things.
  • PinkDog · 1 year ago
I said that Daft Punk is "not even mentioned by name in the original post" so I thought I'd give them a shout-out. They're NOT mentioned in the original post. So, you can't argue that they are!

I think the rendition of the song is atrocious and the video is eh. You think it's fabulous and awesome. I don't even know why we're arguing about it because based on the comment tally so far nobody is going to read any of this anyway.

I am going to move on from this. You should too.

Personally, this video doesn't really float my boat either but then again I never found much to like about Daft Punk. It's that personal taste thing.

Regardless, if this video encourages even one more person to stop, think and then go vote, then it's a GREAT video. Because at this point, it's not about what floats anyone's boat. It's all about getting people to go vote.

Hilarious! Very nice, and a bit disturbing.
