AMERICAblog: Dan Baz, Wash Post: Hillary's nomination "went up in smoke"

Jerome sounds like he's ready to kick the chair out from under himself:

At this point, I'm personally about as detached from whomever wins as I've ever been.

Obama gains superdelegates after trading wins with Clinton
Obama, now the front-runner, was home in Chicago during the day as his aides spread word that he would soon begin campaigning in states likely to be pivotal in the fall campaign. They also relayed word of the four endorsements, expected to be made public later in the day. Both disclosures were meant to signal fresh confidence that the nomination was quickly coming into his possession after a grueling marathon across 15 months and nearly all 50 states.

The "Hillaryis44" gang is still on message, tho:

While internet Hopium dens filled with incense and chanting, hoping slumlord Antoin “Tony” Rezko does not “flip” on long time friend Barack “Waffles” Obama - Hillary Clinton was busy winning “tiebreaker” Indiana.

Hillary’s victory was accomplished in the face of a fierce fight put forth by Obama’s strongest supporter - Big Media.

Is Hillary taking it from Balz or Baz?

I wonder if Obama's even going to contest WV and KY?

    Sounds like maybe not.

Hillary did much better investing in Cattle Futures than she did investing in herself.

Hillary. Save your money, find a tropical island, give Bubba some payback by hiring a couple cabana boys to relieve the stress.
  • Bostonian_Queer_in_Dallas · 1 year ago
Bush Bites...cabana boys? Bill always did enjoy quality head. The cabana boys are better at it anyway.

So when does this party trashing nightmare end?

The county in Indiana where I wasted my childhood went for Obama by 59%. That from an old-fashioned semi-rural Hoosier county that was once known for its Klan intrigue.
    The times, they are a-changing . . .

Some say it is best for Obama to have Clinton in the race until the Kentucky and Oregon primaries are over on 5/20. I agree if and only of Clintons call off the negative dogs. The rational being that Clinton will win Kentucky and West Virginia, whether or not she drops out today. It is better for Obama to be beat in these two states while she is still in the race. Very soon after the polls close in Ooregon on 5/20/08 Clinton gracefully exits the race and endorses Barrack.

Another day gone and another day of speculations on who will be the next President. Another round of mud slinging and unfounded rumors. And I am not talking about those running to become the next US President. I am talking about the American people – or at least some of them. I am astounded to read some of the things people have to say about those leaders who are willing to put their hand up in a difficult time in the American history. What is it that makes people dig so deep to find their own worse self in the way they speak about the candidates? It’s like being in South Africa all over again back in 1994 when we had our own first democratic elections. The doomsayers lived large. But the truth is that all three would make fairly good Presidents – and all have their flaws. It won’t be the end of America. Can’t people just focus on what makes America great instead of scrapping the bottom of the barrel of humanity in the way they talk about their potential future leader? http://angryafrican.net/2008/05/07/november-is-...

Angryafrican...it is in our nature, nowadays, to make politics a contact sport here in the USA. Since Reagan, it has been an ugly sport...negative campaigns work. Americans like it. I don't care for it but it's reality. The Clintons, for thirty years, have been scheming in politics. But so have the Bushes and many others. I think the contrast here this year is that Obama seems so non-scheming in some way. I think that is what brings out our anger and frustration on this blog.

    Obama is human.

    Obama is an American Citizen.

    Obama is highly intelligent.

    Obama is highly educated.

    Hillary is Burnt Toast.

    The End

the fact is, if the situation was reversed,
and Obama was hanging on in spite of being obviously the loser, the super delegates, party leadership and the media would all be riding his ass to quit.

As usual the mainstream punditry asshats are a little late to the party.

Dad, the gravatar with the open water, the laid back attitude? Liberals are supposed to be pissed at something 24/7 and you don't fit the mold. Realists, like me, pick up on these things ;)........

He's not black; it's the MSM photoshopping. They do it to McCain too, make him look like a pinky with a jowl of tobacco...
