AMERICAblog: Delta Airlines scraps "free" mileage tickets

  • Nigel Elliott · 1 year ago
Why doesn't GreyHound offer air travel service? The airlines are following their lead!

    LOL.

I talked with a couple the other day who had just flown Delta from Tampa to Cincinnati...They said the plane was filthy and filled with, of all things, fleas!
They said it was a nightmare flight.
I wonder how much jet fuel on board filth and vermin waste?
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
I flew awhile back on Delta and there was a fried chicken bone on the floor.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
    LOL!

    I don't know why that's funny.

    It just is.

Getting really dark outside. Only thing lit are some fire flies.

Ah, it is just a matter of time before all the other airlines follow Delta's lead. Frontier just posted a 60 million dollar loss. Getting rid of "free flights" must be looking pretty good for them. Better use all those free flights while they last.

I weep for Mother Earth. Of all her creations, she loved us the most because we were the only ones who were able to know and love her back. I love you ME...

fly southwest, and you don't have to worry about any of that, plus, they don't charge $ for water like the others do
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
Yeah, but you always wind up sitting next to rednecks on Southwest.

And they all get drunk before takeoff and carry on throughout the flight.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
On the other hand, Southwest flights are pretty safe.

    Even terrorists have standards.

The Travel chanel is airing "The Unfriendly Skies, Travel in America." Pretty darn disturbing.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
Don't fly on Friday night, I'm told by a friend of an air traffic controller.

Everything's screwed up on Friday nights.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
    Isn't Delta based in Atlanta?

They might to rethink that if the airport gun case goes through.

    Heh, heh.

which vindicates my decision to burn all my remaining NW miles on a biz-class trip to Paris in May as soon as I heard about this stupid merger.

have I mentioned lately how badly this commenting system sucks?
  • loona_c · 1 year ago
I agree. I seldom post anymore. And I used to be a "regular"
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
And, you are a smart cookie. I miss your posts.

We are all paying more everywhere to get OIL COMPANIES to make more money.

There is NO reason that gas should be almost $5.

It's almost as if the oil co's know that Obama is going to be President and we WILL know what happened in that meeting they had with DICK cheney. They are overcharging Americans with gas just because they are greedy and want to milk us of money one last time.

    Shame on them!

    They will get their karma.

I will never accept the taliban around me. I don't care. They are anti-Mother Earth and negative for growing things. I shall now enter my garden out in the darkness and contemplate in preparation for ceremonial tomorrow night...
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
GG, what the hell ceremony are you doing tomorrow night? Is there a full moon or something? You aren't going to do that thing where you grow hair on your palms again; are you?
I'll be catching some big ass catfish this weekend; and, I don't mean the political kind. Damn omnivorous bottomfeeders.........
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
    GG

You post some pretty strange things, but this tops it all. Taliban, garden, ceremony??????

These up charges are nothing new. United has been charging $100 per ticket for "free" trips to Europe for the last six months. They also charge an additional $97.00 per flight if you want a seat with enough room for your legs. The high fuel charges are eating them alive. Time to start drilling our own oil ?
