AMERICAblog: Democrat Al Franken made progress today in Minnesota

    Joe Lieberman must be disappointed.

While the immediate benefit is believed to be to Franken, today's decisions are a win for all Minnesota voters. The idea that correctly cast, valid votes would not be counted is an outrage. The fact that a sitting Senator is advocating exactly that is pathetic.

Keep your fingers crossed! But, if the Board only "encouraged" every county to look for "disqualified" voters, doesn't that mean they really don't have to? Doesn't sound like a mandate to do so.

Hopefully after 2000, courts will be a bit more reluctant to stop vote recounts.

Oh, this is such a fucking farce! The election was a MONTH ago!
