AMERICAblog: Desperate McCain launches outrageous attack on Obama; says Obama wants to lose in Iraq

  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
    Stupid old fool.
  • Butch1 · 1 year ago
Along with the Chimp smirk, McBush has also, copied Bush's little wink when he says something that he think is funny. Obvious republican lie machine in action. I smell Rove's fat fingers all over this.
McBush or McSame are appropriate names for John McBush. He is Bush's own and they own these past eight years of infamy.

He's the creepy uncle with alcohol & tobacco on his breath and his hands on your ass. Ugh.
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
The McCain camp does not pass the laugh test anymore. (ie: see McCain commercial blaming Obama for high gass prices) Desparate and disorganized. When Obama returns he will get a bounce in the polls and my guess is that McCain will become more and more of a joke.

Bring on the debates so we can put the nail in this coffin!
  • bumpkis · 1 year ago
Throws more fuel on the fire that McCain will not be the candidate come November....how much more embarrassment can the GOP take?
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
Well the repubs have painted themselves in a corner and continue to reach into their old bag of tricks. The people are finally on to these old tricks......finally. Perhaps now they will have to start discussing actual issues. Heaven forbid.

    You reap what you sew.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
The GOP is a crime syndicate. They will do something. I sense that and trying to find out exactly how. I'm getting some meat brought aboard their plane.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
Do they serve hotdogs on the plane?
  • Linzack · 1 year ago
Isn't this the same John McCain who said he didn't love his country until he was shot down, made a prisoner of war and spilled his guts to the enemy? Hmmm. D.
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
that's right... he just wants more American soldiers to be able to experience "loving their country" the way he did.

    /snark
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
He's known as "Songbird" by the Viet Cong for a reason. Just like telling everyone Obama's travel plans.
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
This is where some MSM reporter with morals should go to the videotape... and play back mccain's comment that we'd leave Iraq if the Iraqi government asked us to do so.

they have, Obama is proposing a scaled withdrawl... so, mccain's "win" would be staying in Iraq (indefinitely) even though they don't want us there anymore and have asked us to leave.

he said he wouldn't stay there if their government asked us to leave... now he's talking about "winning"??

    flip-flop much?
  • kevinbgoode · 1 year ago
And this is where Democrats need to remind the American people that Republicans themselves vetted John McCain in 2000 - and decided that George W. Bush was a much better choice for President. We need to keep reminding the people of this fact over and over and over and over again. Since we all know that Bush was such a failure, can we afford to trust a Republican runner-up?
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
good point. he lost to chimpy... chimpy isn't exactly popular.

    that's a commercial.
  • jr · 1 year ago
    Dear Carol McCain's abandoner,
You're a bedwetting bitch who thinks this is a board game. Fathers and mothers are getting PTSD, losing their limbs and lives so you can feel manly when you see your liverspotted man-boobs in the mirror every morning. You want to cut every domestic program while the media pretends your coke ho wife isn't worth 100 mill and you're an average guy

Veddy interesting. It played just fine less than 1/2 hour ago.

That's what I've gotten so far. That's all I've gotten but will continue to look.

Jeez, I can feel the hate toward him and I'm sending it magnified right back on them. No love from me...
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
All I've gotten from my deep meditation are wienies. Cylindrical shaped things.

OK, I can laugh at myself but that's what I see. Check out the food they're bringing aboard the plane. Please!!!
  • LeesiD · 1 year ago
This desperation borders on insanity......Is this ehat we want in the White House?!! Heck NO!!! I don't want McCain anywhere near the Oval Office!!! he needs to be in a convalescent home so he can relax, instead of this incessant whining!!
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
The ghost of Barry Goldwater has to be loving every minute of the campaign that will take the Goldwater name, if not Arizona's, off a rather ignominious political record if, as I believe, November will see a landslide for the Democratic Party.

This is AWESOME! he looks SO incompetent in light of what Obama is doing. Hey John, keep listening to Karl Rove P L E A S E! I mean he did SO well with that permanant Republican majority thing.
  • jcgraham77 · 1 year ago
has anyone heard the rumor that mcain is on anti alzhiemers meds because he is predisposed to it cause of his parents? a friends asked me about that...i assume its just a rumor?
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
McShame's girlish sniping is to Obama's advantage with the ongoing record of the Illinois Senator's 'high road' posture.
Aside from the fashion yak over Michelle's Jackiesque wardrobe, I saw real flashes of JFK in this morning's Jordanian presser...This brilliant and very McLuhan-cool Obama media presense is the perfect antidote to the hot Bush/McPouty lunacy...

if you were old enough to be on stand by for crossing the river jordan you would be desperate too!
  • Wesinoregon · 1 year ago
I would like him to describe what "WIN" the war is. He only talks about losing the war. His ilk has had 5 years to "WIN" this war. One little country against the powerful U.S. Are WE that weak? WWII didn't last this long and we WON that one. What is WIN? If we had left yesterday, tomorrow, or next year I think things would still be equal there.
  • Dave of the Jungle · 1 year ago
"Win" means occupy Iraq for 100 years and control the oil supply...

    ...aka "Freedom" and "Democracy"
  • Joneses · 1 year ago
With all the mistakes McCain makes, and the media ignoring such, and the cake walk from the media, he should not attack them. The media is 99% in his corner, even the newpapers, but atlas, I guess he want the full 100%.
  • kl8n · 1 year ago
Only our third decade, John? Hell, JFK did a botched invasion of Cuba because he wanted the Republicans to think he had big balls. LBJ got us into a decade long war that makes Iraq look like a church picnic all because he couldn't stand the thought of some Republican punks in Congress calling him a pinko sissy. It's been "our" M.O. since at least 1960 to respond to "conservative" goading by pulling some dumbass shit that simply serves to prove their point.
  • acknight · 1 year ago
Somebody should point out to Grandpa McCain that we won the war several years ago. What we're doing now is the post-war occupation and attempting to quell a rising civil war between factions of the Iraqi people.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
limbaugh and hannity spout this BS every day of the world...

"the dems want us to lose in Iraq."
I don't quite understand it, i think it used to be based on the idea that all dems just wanted a bushco failure in any way possible...or that dems are wimps when if comes to fighting wars...take your pick.

guess McMaverick has decided to go with the AM radio hate talkers.
btw - they're all on board with him after hating his guts til now. even limbaugh pulled a dobson and will support the traitor half responsible for McCain-Feingold.
  • KingCranky · 1 year ago
Okay, so if Obama wants to "lose" in Iraq, that means McCain obviously wants to lose in Afghanistan, and also believes in appeasing Usama bin Laden and al-Qaeda, the prime beneficiaries of the stupid decision to blow off Afghanistan to invade & occupy Iraq.

So much fun using right-wing rhetoric against the right-wingers themselves.
  • sunny123 · 1 year ago
Senator McCain is a one pony show. He is doing everything he can to spread fear. He has no idea on the economy, he has no plan on illegal immigration, all he knows about is war...an he only knows about that as a hostage...how much command presence does such a comedian have. He can get laughs but I have never neard anything new of well thought out from him. I pity the poor US if he becomes our President.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
i don't know who's putting out mcCain's ads, but they suck.

there's one the GOPers are voting on now about how in love with Obama the media is.... makes the media look stupid and McCain look jealous.
  • FatRat · 1 year ago
McCain has shown his cards; he has absolutely nothing. His only chance to win the pot, is to BLUFF! You can't fault his logic. When you are playing poker and you have the Royal Sampler, you have to fold or bluff.

    Definition of Royal Sampler.

McCain is a brutal speaker. He obviously has been told that he needed to smile more, so now he does it all the time, including the trademark Republican move of smiling after a reference to death, war, killing, etc. Then it just comes off looking creepy - like Peter Lorre in some old horror movie.
  • lucky hussein · 1 year ago
I think John A is absolutely right, these attacks need to be treated for what they are. Punk tactics. Here's the parallel: BO says: 'Senator McCain would rather see our troops die for the President's lies and failure, than lose an election or lose control of the Iraqi's oil'. I wonder how McCain would react....
  • nsr · 1 year ago
Six decades. 1948 was when they started calling us pinkos.
  • BorninUSA · 1 year ago
Thought I would never say this....I would rather see Bush's smirk than have to watch that stupid, evil grin on McCain's face. Someone should tell him to stop smiling, it makes him look more stupid than usual. It is a leer. It is disgusting.
  • mirth · 1 year ago
Oh I agree about Mc's forced, wide smile baring his old, yellow teeth. It's like he's snarling, ready to bite something or someone. Totally creepy.

Why can't his handlers see this?!
  • mirth · 1 year ago
Love your additions to the post, John.

    Yes! Dems, don't be intimidated!

    Let's get 'em!

Wow. That's the desperation of 3 weeks before the election, with 3 1/2 months left to go. Where do you go from here? Will John McCain turn backpedaling into a new form of locomotion?
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
This video clip just makes me think "GREASY". Yes, McCain has become a greasy, dishonest criminally manipulative (campaign finance ironically) politician. Whereas I once, many years ago, thought fondly of him, I came to my senses and realized what a totally fabricated and dishonest politician he has become (or has always been).

Yes, GREASY, DISHONEST & POLITICIAN; words that make me think of many, but are tailor made for McCain; all of which compute to him not being fit to lead!

whew! a scathingly brilliant expose on Mrs. Greenspan over at Dkos...

Why does John McCain hate reality?
  • Sloopman111 · 1 year ago
Hooray for Obama. He was at the top of his class in college, wants to continue to help the poor and the middle class, believes in communicating with other countries, has added hope to the Senate, gets standing ovations from our military troops and from foreign countries, and is the Democratic nominee for president.
Poor McCain is caught in his own web which is to extend, the soon to be, dismantled GWB web. Fear, bribery, hate, violence, ineptitude, and unbelieveable corruption are finally being challenged. Obama has class and intelligence. McCain is crass and a bit demented. He was at the bottom rung of his class, is a huge supporter of the wealthy, has millions of dollars from his wife's beer business, but still takes time to denegrate her. History repeats itself. Hard with Harding, Cool with Coolidge, Starve with Hoover, Deception with Nixon, Trickle down economics with Reagan, Weak backbone with GHWB and Incredible Stupidiy and Violent self-serving policies with GWB.... Go Obama.... Down with the people who have made America hated overseas, tarnished our Constitution, and severely dishonored the American people..
