AMERICAblog: Did Bush just say he doesn't (or didn't) think Iraq was worth it?

Dear Cokehead, What do you think it does to morale when the troops houses are being foreclosed because you axed the regulations for the lending industry?

That is so bizarre. That's like the excuse for sitting on his ass while NY and DC were attacked. He didn't want to scare the kids.
The only ones who will buy this shit are about 30 percent of the country.
I was on jury duty for the last two days -- and watched about 100 people being quizzed for possible service on the jury. About 30 percent of them were ignorant, confused, just plain dumb, or seriously whacked. Assuming this was a cross section of society, I now understand where Bush's approval numbers come from.

I am a retired teacher, and I try to keep in mind that 50% of the American people read above 8th grade level, and 50% below. It's very sad, but mirrors a kind of a bell curve of IQ.

From another website... That's like finding a neighbor who is pushing puppies out into traffic, and calling him an Asshat. Then he says, "You just don't love puppies." Bush is a Moronic Asshat. [to all my buddies in the NSA, Hi, Happy Friday! ]

Folks, you're obviously confusing Mr. Bush with someone who is capable of feeling . . . or reasoning.

Olbermann pointed out another one yesterday, where Bush told his Kristol the Junior Neocon that even if Betray-Us wanted out, he'd say no.
Then, Bush said something like "But that's not the way I'm going to say it. I'm going to say it 'whatever Petraeus wants.' or some such.
Shows what an idiot he is when he talks openly about how he's deceiving the troops and the public and expects nobody to notice--or it shows what a bunch of gutless losers the Corporate Media is.
BUSH: General Petraeus and Ambassador Crocker have submitted recommendations on the way forward. After detailed discussions with my National Security team, including the secretary of Defense, secretary of state, and Joint Chiefs of Staff, I‘ve accepted these recommendations.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
OLBERMANN: That claim that his decision followed General Petraeus‘ recommendation we know today to be a lie.
Mr. Bush previewing his speech for friendly interviewer, William Kristol yesterday, saying he would address whether more than five brigades could come, quote, “My answer is no. I‘m not going to say that. I‘m going to say that I agree with David.”
Nor is this the only matter on which Mr. Bush yesterday refutes Mr. Bush today. Bush today is claiming that Iraq‘s government supports the path he laid out today.

BTW, John:
You should get back here. It's getting good.
Looks like Hillary and Bill are having a lying contest:
This is why they call Rove "Bush's Brain," by the way.
The guy's babbling like the Wizard of Oz scarecrow without Rove around to tell him to "just clear brush and keep your mouth shut, moron."

oy CHENEY ON WARPATH AGAIN? By Dan Froomkin Special to washingtonpost.com Friday, April 11, 2008; 1:02 PM
Vice President Cheney went on right-wing talk radio yesterday with a dramatic new argument for preventing Iran from getting nuclear weapons, casting the Iranian leadership as apocalyptic zealots who yearn for a nuclear conflagration.
Cheney also notably refused to comment about any recent conversations he may have had with Israeli leaders about the possibility of their bombing Iranian nuclear facilities. Some observers suspect Cheney of encouraging Israel to attack Iran as a proxy.

soooo... in cheney's view. the apocalyptic zealots on THIS side of the pond need to start the conflagration first?
okay, this is and example of reverse-evolution in action.
hey dick? remember the phrase "survival of the fittest"? If a nuclear war breaks out... the cockroaches will prove that they were the fittest species to survive.

That's as much to try and bolster the spirits of the people in the field as well -- you can't have the commander-in-chief say to a bunch of kids who are sacrificing that either it's not worth it or you're losing. What does that do for morale?" Bush said.
How many millions lost their lives at the end of World War 2 for the same reason- that Hitler could not admit to himself what everybody else knew, that the war was lost? It was easier to squander the lives of endless helpless people than admit his own failure. How many lost their lives in Vietnam for the same reason?
I can't believe that there is still any debate over Bush's rank as president. He is so far below any other candidate, even Harding and Coolidge, in so many ways.

overheard at that lunch.
Penn: "Karen, I don't want to offend you or anything... but... you have HUGE feet and hands!"
Hughes: "Well Mark... you know what they say about big hands and feet right? [wink]"
Penn: "Karen... is that a billy club under your skirt?"
Fearless Prediction: After settling onto his estate in Paraguay by April, 2009 former President Bush [43] will announce that he was opposed to the Invasion of Iraq all along. He will claim that "Rumsfeld made me do it."

Pardon me, but it's hard to imagine George W Bush having any opinion arrived at by rational inquiry into the nature of reality.
