i sometimes don't see how he's going to make it either. if the GOP nominates someone else, let's hope it sends them into a tailspin. it would produce a larger effect than the mcgovern VP thing in 1972.

Yeah, but will the DNC really push it, and will the GOP stand behind it. I doubt it!

Put them under oath! All of them - McCain, his campaign staff, and the bank managers.

never thought I'd live to see a felonious Panamanian dictator running for President of the US.

This will come to nothing. There's a reason why Congress has a 13% approval rating. Oh sure, the GOP are obstructionists, and have used the filibuster more then any other Congress, etc. Nothing but excuses - the Dems are full of them - they can't even get Rove before Congress to testify under oath - what a joke.

the thing is... I'm not sure if this is going to get to Congress. This is a court case. The courts go by the law, this isn't a congressional hearing to decide if an investigation that will take years and cost $$$ to taxpayers needs to take place.
this is kinda the way that you get around wishy-washy politicians... with a Federal suit. The law is the law.

It would be like after a year of paying insurance premiums, you want your money back because you didn't use the service.

The lawsuit is all well and good, but I don't agree with the timing.. It's an election year. Why doesn't the DNC concentrate on spending it's $$ and resources on getting more dems elected in the congressional races, and put this off until after the election?
i just don't thnk he's gonna make it.
