Any American woman of any substance or smarts should be outraged by this hattrick by Karl Rove or whoever pulled this. It is pure reverse sexism of the worst kind.
Exactly. The higher prices hurt, but when money is spent in locally owned small stores, the money returns to the local economy had promotes further local economic expansion. But the big box stores, take the money far away to the owers and investors, enriching them and socked away in the accounts of the already wealthy. Conservatives claim that the wealthy are the ones who invest in economic expansion actually that is untrue. If they spend the money, it is to the detriment of the local economy, spending it on damaging the local economy working to lower salaries of their employees and close small businesses. Small business is the direction of growth. Corporations, big business are descrtuctive of our economy.
