Apparently she was another Straight Talk koolaid drinker.
maybe AP has an opening for her.

Reuters says Palin speech drew 37 million viewers, five minutes later AP claimed "over 40 million." Hmm... who should we believe?
  • Butch1 · 1 year ago
Why, nothing to see here folks, they decided to round it up a few million.;-)

Kelly has always been a lady who goes with the Repub side.
  • LunaStick · 1 year ago
Kelly's afraid she'll lose her nice comfy lazy boy seat on the crooked...er I mean straight talk express.
  • lynchie · 1 year ago
Sarah Palin read a speech written by someone else.
  • LunaStick · 1 year ago
She let men put words in her mouth.
  • lynchie · 1 year ago
    Among other things.
  • gumbygirl · 1 year ago
McCain will too. I'm not watching, I didn't think about how stupid people are- they see the numbers Palin's speech drew last night and translate it into approval for the hateful bitch.
  • LunaStick · 1 year ago
I'm not watching either. I want the ratings to be low.

Iron Chef is on tonight... that's a maybe! Or I might read instead... I'm a Democrat-we do that!
  • LunaStick · 1 year ago
Excellent! What book are you reading?
  • gumbygirl · 1 year ago
I just started one by Jess Winfield called "My name is Will". It's about a grad student who's doing his thesis on Shakespeare, and he gets roped into delivering a magic mushroom to a guy who collects them, which gets him caught up in Reagan's war on drugs...ok, it sounds weird, but so far it's really funny! Shakespeare is in it too, in an equally strange parallel story.

    :) :) :) :)

I never read Animal Farm (don't ask me how I got away with that) and I found an old copy in a thrift store so I'll read that tonight. It's short enough to finish in a few hours.
  • gumbygirl · 1 year ago
I read that years ago, but if I remember correctly I liked 1984 better. I try to stay out of bookstores- they're like crack for me!-and just go to the library.

We can't watch either - aaack! Enough! ...... we're watching Blade Runner instead!

Yeah, most of the those 37 million were probably turned off by the spectacle last night.....I hope.

I've always thought Kelly O'Donnell was a worthless reporter. She used to do the same thing reporting from the White House. Guess she just transferred her allegiance from Bush to McCain.......ohhhh, maybe she couldn't tell the difference?

Kelly O'Donnell works for NBC. NBC works for McCrazyCain.

There are NO journalists on TV, remember?

It is our job to get the truth out anyway we can.

The scared NBC pussies are shameful...If they could only do their jobs with the ruthless skills used to knife each other instead of folding like brand new prison bottoms...GE could always store forged proxies in the old 30 Rock studios and Andrea Mitchell could move on to long-winded acne infomercials.

I've been thinking the very same thing. Are there any journalists who can be neutral on a news show? If not, then we need to start loading the one's who lean to the left so we can stabilize this right listing bird and level it out. I do not want to see us lose yet, another election because of a media trying to control the election process with dispensing disinformation or just being lazy and playing the stenographer rather than a real journalist.

I agree. She made me want to puke.

I agree completely about Kelly O'Donnell andf that seems to follow the same track over these past months as David Gregory. Remember him asking really tough questions at the WH at one time. It seems he's softened an awful lot since he got his CNBC gig. May I see ALL the letters of recommendation Gregory handed the network to get the job....you know., just to see if there are any letters written on WH stationary. Nothing turns a shallow pundit like Gregory into an allyl quicker than the promise of more money and power. Kinda like paying Iraqis not to kill our soldiers and Marines.....if you ask me. They honestly believe money will buy them anything and everything. O'Donnell and Gregory are fast becoming traitors to their profession.

Nothing new. Here's what Kelly O'Donnell did in 2006:
Media Matters calls out Hardball over Allen's appearance
    Wed Jun 21, 2006

"Hardball for Dean, softball for Allen: MSNBC's O'Donnell echoed Republican attacks, misleading statements" reads the title of the media watchdog group Media Matters' latest alert. The group is calling out MSNBC and guest host Kelly O'Donnell for their very different treatment of Democratic leader Howard Dean and soon to be ex-Senator George Allen.

Summary: During separate one-on-one interviews with Howard Dean and Sen. George Allen, MSNBC's Kelly O'Donnell gave starkly different treatments to each -- asking Dean to respond to Republican attacks on Democrats for most of his interview, while favoring Allen with only two questions that asked him to address criticism of Republicans.

And remember, she is married to a right winger--Secor?, I think.
  • citizenjane · 1 year ago
No, sorry about that -- it's Campbell Brown who is married to Dan Senor. My mistake.
