AMERICAblog: Edwards: Hillary Clinton “has to be really careful that she’s not damaging our prospects”

As I am sure Hillary will tell us soon, John Edwards, like most of the United States, is insignificant.

John Edwards should commit. It's time.

I still Hillary will leave after West Virgina, she wants out on a "victorious" win. She can then maintain for years she was winning but forced out, once again playing victim

I think AQ2 might be onto something.

Hillary can do whatever she wants. We will laugh at her all the same.

Aquarius2 is right. Hillary will quit after a big win so she can kvetch about the "injustice" against her for the rest of her life.

I don't think she's getting out of the race until after the rules committee meets to decide on Michigan and Florida on May 31. If she wasn't planning to fight for those delegates and the corresponding popular vote, there would have been no reason to turn down the compromise solution offered for Michigan.

clinton has more up her sleeves and plans to steal the nomination.

Strange. I never saw Edwards as much of a black elitist misogynist.

John Edwards really isn't really going out on the limb here. He should outright support the nominee like his state and the rest of the former candidates. I do get him.

Sullivan has a great column out today.

It's time for Edwards to stop sitting on the fence and announce his choice as a superdelegate. It is obvious who is going to win the nomination for the Democratic Party and to still pretend to be waiting for this debacle to be done reduces his credibility, in my opinion. Enough already, she's toast and everyone knows it. Time to tell her, it's over.

Butch1 is right. Edwards needs to fully endorse, and release the few delegates he won to Obama.

The race in Kentucky will be worth watching. I hope Hillary doesn't break an ankle the way Eight Belle did. That was sad.

Bush won West Virginia with over 70% of the vote.

Lets see any Dem chip away at that number in the general. Big whoop Hilz is going to win W.V.

She keeps drawing a line in the sand and says cross it, another line-cross it, another line-cross it. Soon she will be standing in the water on the west coast trying to draw a line. What childish, petty behavior. Run your campaign Hillary, stop the threats, stop the bring it on, stop it. You do not possess the votes, delegates or where with all to win. Go out with honor if in fact you have any, which I am starting to doubt. The people so rabid about keeping her in are being paid boat loads of money and that goes away. In addition if she doesn't get to the Whitehouse there are no cushy jobs, ambassadorships, Department Head positions for her to hand out. They are all in it for the juice they will get handed to them by Mr. and Mrs. Clintonship.
