AMERICAblog: Eli Pariser of MoveOn

jr · 1 year agoI'm sick of our party leadership throwing moveon under the bus at every turn. These guys are on the cutting edge of grassroots organizing

devis1 · 1 year agoPathetic as it is, I have been afraid to go to their local organizational events because of the rabid hatred there is for them. After spending last weekend canvassing in Pat Robertson's backyard that fear was reinforced. As a 50 year old woman I felt very threatened. I always was in awe of the civil rights activists who went down south in the 60's and wish I had 1/100th of their courage.

Indigo · 1 year agoI like the mini-interviews. I like Eli, he seems to have a clear head about it all.

KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year agoMeh. Jon Stewart said it best (after Baby Alex, Betrayus, etc.): "Ten years of making even people who agree with you cringe." Obama is right to put the muzzle on them for the general election. If they're concentrating on voter reg, well OK, that's fairly harmless.

smallhandff · 1 year agoThe newlyweds, Mr & Mrs Pariser, make a very cute couple. Too bad John didn't get Eli's opinion of Hillary's speech. I bet he was disappointed. Yet I got the vague impression that Eli wasn't expecting Hillary to do the kind of anti-McCain heavy hiting one would like to see at a unity love-fest.
