Obama admin's OPM, headed by a gay man, reportedly blocks lesbian from getting health benefits
Sorry for the harsh language, but I've had enough of being nice! If Obama won't take the gloves off, I will!
God forgive if Jesus did come back today, they wouldn't know him or her nor would they believe because they do not practice the religion but use it for personal gain.
As you can see from this story posted a month ago. The process has already begun:
"Dobson said on the radio program he must consider McCain’s record against abortion rights and support for smaller government, and added McCain “seems to understand the Muslim threat.” He also indicated McCain’s choice of a running mate will be a factor. Of his new position, Dobson said in the statement to the AP, “If that is a flip-flop, then so be it.”
Shocked.
I'm shocked, I tell you.
This would be a robo-call. This would be a tv ad on cable stations or other micro-targeted spots. This would make it into the conversation of every Christian fundamentalist in the South and around the country.
Would the purpose be to get them to turn out for Obama? No. But it would be a culture-jamming tactic. It would be effective an it would be brass-knuckles politics - and it would be truthful.
But because it would be a blatant attempt to win the election via diminishing voter enthusiasm for McCain - we'd never do it.
And thus why we lose. Until we get some balls and learn to fight as hard as we can we won't win. This isn't dirty or underhanded, which is all the more infuriating - it's simply being willing to be hardnosed and using the ammunition at hand.
I hate sports metaphors, but I am brought back to my high-school football days. You either hit somebody or you get hit. You've got to want it harder than the other guy or you end up getting planted on your ass while the other guy heads toward the end zone. Politics, at the base level, isn't much different.
