AMERICAblog: "Everybody needs to grab a hose, and that's what Charlie Crist is doing here today." - President Obama

  • rexkc · 9 months ago
    heh heh... me, too!
  • Jessica54 · 9 months ago
    LOL

Crap, I needed a good laugh today.
  • Fireblazes(CheetohsandCatfood) · 9 months ago
Maybe Charlie could run up north and see Sister Lindsey Graham. That bitchy queen could needs something to keep her busy so she can't run her mouth. Thank god the republicans are here to keep the stereotype alive!
  • cowboyneok · 9 months ago
I'm still laughing at Senator Barbara Boxer slaying him by mocking "Aunt Bee" and chiding her, Miss Graham, to stop being "so theatrical!" GASP! I laughed so hard, I thought was going to hyperventilate. Senator Boxer REALLY should be our majority leader. She is tough, and doesn't let red state Senators get by with their shit.
  • Bush_Bites · 9 months ago
    I like that.

Much better than the hose comment, because it was a purposeful brush back right under the chin.

Bet Lindsay felt that one zinging by.
  • woodroad34 · 9 months ago
I'm totally with you on that. Of the two California Senators, Barbara lives up to her metaphorical last name much better than the Unfine Feinstein.
  • sukabi1 · 9 months ago
Tomorrow's news will reveal that Crist was caught in a men's restroom grabbing hose... can't have a member of the GOP colluding with a Dem..
  • lostmypassword · 9 months ago
    Wonkete saw it first :p
  • John Aravosis · 9 months ago
I was tipped off to it by a reader. Can't say where they say it - I'd have tipped a hat to Wonkette had I read it there :-)
  • lostmypassword · 9 months ago
Reading Wonkette again, it seems they were tipped off by HuffPo too.

Very funny quote regardless of who spotted it first
  • EarthquakeWeather · 9 months ago
Bwaaahaha. Selling the stimulus and outing a Governor at the same time. Obama's quite the multi-tasker.
  • Older_Wiser · 9 months ago
    Hozed...heh.
  • ndtovent · 9 months ago
Didn't he get married to some chippy recently??
  • ndtovent · 9 months ago
    Oops....make that 'chippie'
  • Fireblazes(CheetohsandCatfood) · 9 months ago
    The correct term is "beard".
  • Ferdiad · 9 months ago
Honestly, I think if the Repukes dumped the religious right and stopped gay bashing (and were more cool to the environment) I would probably dump the Dems in a heartbeat. They are pathetic.
  • cowboyneok · 9 months ago
Well, then I would suspect you will be a Democrat for life. They wouldn't have a party without the religioius right and gay bashing...
  • cowboyneok · 9 months ago
I heard Charlie fought someone over a particularly BIG hose! Size Queen!
  • spanky · 9 months ago
Has Crist ever engaged in gay bashing? I know he is suspected of being in the closet which is his business but has he engaged in the demonization of gays like the majority of the right or is he complicit in his silence?
    Funny tag line.
  • RainbowPhoenix · 9 months ago
    He supported Amendment 2.
  • Phalamir · 9 months ago
Charlie Christ is suspected of nothing. In Tallahassee he was pretty open - and then would go home and act like he was straight as an arrow around the hinderland Republican voters (the marriage thing was basically because he wanted to be VP, and we haven't had a gay VP since GHW Bush).
  • cowboyneok · 9 months ago
Obama, "and Charlie there are gonna be LOTS and LOTS of hoses there! We all KNOW how you like hoses!"
  • ChrisS · 9 months ago
John, you are an evil, evil man. Which is why like you so much.

God, I don't know when I'll stop laughing at this.
  • Jeff_in_Laguna · 9 months ago
Oh man! Thanks for the laugh!!!
  • Phil · 9 months ago
I see Charlie's up to his old tricks again (pun intended).
  • Zorba · 9 months ago
Okay, John, you may owe me a new keyboard- I just spit Diet Pepsi all over this one. ;-)
  • RainbowPhoenix · 9 months ago
That is so wrong. We've all had moments where what we meant to say comes out horribly wrong, but this is definitely one of the funniest.
  • DAB · 9 months ago
Okay, that was a true laugh-out-loud. Is our president dog whistling us?
  • tom · 9 months ago
but what a hose it is!
  • Mike_in_the_Tundra · 9 months ago
Thanks, I needed a good laugh.
  • eric · 9 months ago
Charlie has been grabbing hose long before the economic crisis began
  • Dave of the Jungle · 9 months ago
Well, I'm straight so I think it's time to grab a bucket.
  • woodroad34 · 9 months ago
    Take that, Dick Armey.....
  • Rab · 9 months ago
    HAAAAAAAAAA.
  • Nylund · 9 months ago
Now who thinks Obama's double-entendre was intentional?
  • ChrisS · 9 months ago
Personally, I doubt it was intentional. I don't know whether the rumors about the Governor are known to the President, but the laughs this is generating aren't helping move the President's agenda forward. They're not hurting, either, so it's harmless fun. Which means that, if it were deliberate, it would also be gratuitous, and I don't think that's where the President is coming from.

    I'm still laughing, though. LOL.
  • knute123 · 9 months ago
Haha. I had a similar reaction when I heard that this morning. I believe my exact comment was, "Charlie is familiar with grabbing hoses."

If what Rep. Kanjorski D Penn says is true, there should be an investigation as to who started the run on the banks:

Unreported $550 billion Electronic Run on the Banks!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NMu1mFao3w&eurl...

About half way through this video we are told of a massive run on the banks. By whom? Who did it?
  • Indigo · 9 months ago
Obama is little more innocent than I realized.
  • BH · 9 months ago
The second I heard him say that, I knew you'd blog it. Sometimes an innocent phrase can speak volumes of truth.
  • naschkatzehussein · 9 months ago
And Obama pulled a boner too.
  • tlsintx · 9 months ago
    snort!
