Will McHothead be able to quell all the fighting within his campaign, as his little republican minions play the GOP favorite game "pass the buck"? Will McGrumpy be able to unify his work force in these final weeks leading up to the election?
Doubtful.

Wow ...just saw this cross-posted at Huff Post.....
National Review writer: After Interviews Palin should bow out:
Palin’s recent interviews with Charles Gibson, Sean Hannity, and now Katie Couric have all revealed an attractive, earnest, confident candidate. Who Is Clearly Out Of Her League.
If BS were currency, Palin could bail out Wall Street herself.
So when will CNN, Morning Joe, FOX and the like STOP making excuses for the two dumbest people on earth. I mean DUMB. I have never, in my 50 years on this earth, met much less, know of anyone so transparently stupid than these two -- PLAIN AND MCSAME. Anderson Cooper, stop embarassing yourself and refuse cleaning up these two words. They are just what we see. How in the Hell are we suppose embrace somebody like PLAIN or Palin or whatever her name is and you can't understand a thing that comes out of her mouth? Outside themselves and their immediate family members, who in the Hell would vote for this or these or whatever you want to call them. They certainly can't be candidates for the President and Vice President of THESE United States.

I don't think McCain and Palin are stupid. I think Palin is clearly out of her league to be one of the top Federal elected officials. She should had never accepted the VP nomination. McCain, I think is panicking, and has panic for a couple months, given how the Republicans were facing an uphill battle anyway with Bush's popularity and the economy. He is taking risks, because he won't win unless he takes risks. However his risks aren't planned out well, and with every risks there is a chance of failure. He also is making Obama look like a leader.
Palin is not even an one term governor of a parochial idiosyncratic state, She is being told what to say, whether she actually agrees with it or not. She ran Alaska pretty moderately, because she could, without worried about getting 527 groups running ads on her every decision.
McCain wants to be president so badly, he will be reckless, as he is doing right now. If he wants to show leadership, he would had put Boehner in his place at the White House meeting on Thursday.

Judging by his campaign's apparent lack of any discernible plan, I' would debate that McCain is using using tactics of any kind. Whims is more accurate.
woah theres a story going around that the mccain campaign is running web ads that hes allready won the debate. We cant let this go, this has to make it to the networks.

It's true! Just went to Huff Post and saw one of the ads. Talk about nuts, deluded, erratic and just downright NUTS. McCain has ads today saying he won the debates.

I saw that and couldn't f_ing believe it myself. I just bumped the concern to the top of the thread.

You know that boss...or co-worker...THAT CAN'T MAKE A DECISION TO SAVE THEIR LIVES? AND THEY'RE CONSTANTLY RUNNING AROUND, EXASPERATED, PUTTING OUT FIRES? That's because they are idiots and know-nothings. That's John McCain.

I want a list of every PR company, every record company in this country. I want a copy of "Who's Who" and the latest edition of "Hello!" magazine. Let's get "celebritied"-up!... Come on! Bubble, I want four huge video screens down either side of the catwalk. I want to flash-up pictures of sad, but beautiful children, happy gay couples, slogans like "World Health", "No Pollution", "Fashion Cares", all right darling? And print up thousands of new invitations on green, totally recycled paper, and cab them around to everybody. Now, now! Now, darling. Now, sweetie! Now, now!...

Yes McCain got the topic changed .. and derailed progress . . . MEANWHILE
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Washington Mutual (WM: Washington Mutual Inc M 0.16, 1.53, 90.3%) customers withdrew $16.7 billion in cash from the thrift in the past nine days, a huge outflow that led to the largest bank failure in U.S. history, the institution's regulator said Friday.
That's a bank run, which means t means that the confidence the American people have had is gone. They don't believe Washington will save them, their deposits (even with insurance) or the money they need to live!
What if 1 or 2 more monolithic banks have runs? And why aren't progressive bloggers posting about this.
McCain is fiddling, derailing, grandstanding, being a drama queen, while America burns.
Please link this on the main page. It shows just how off the deep-end the mccain campaign is getting, and we cant let them off the hook.

It's like spoon feeding soft food to a baby by playing a kind of combo chicken and airplane, where McCain's the baby food on the spoon/airplane and the baby'e mouth is the metaphoric debate plane hanger. If the baby's in a good mood, pretending to miss the hanger a time or two always provokes giggles but if the baby's cranky like our whip-sawed viewing public a hanger miss could cause screaming tears and hours of empty-bellied fussiness.

I'm trying to visualize that metaphor and now feel like I'm stuck in a Terry Gilliam animation.
"Erik Stanley, senior legal counsel with the Alliance Defense Fund, said: “This is something these churches want to do in secrecy and hiding. In fact, they don’t believe they’re doing anything wrong. They don’t believe they’re violating the law." Sociopaths don't believe they're doing anything wrong when they kill either.

I bet Gramps got tired of Rove calling all the shots so he tried to pull a Rove of his own. Fortunately for us his masters did not teach him all their evil tricks. I predict a big oil spill in Alaska next week which will force Natasha to return to Juneau before her debate.

When it is all over, come Nov. 5th, let's check out state law in the home states of John McCain, Lindsay Graham, Joe Lieberman and Sarah Palin, and see if we can have all four reccalled at the same time. None of these sorry excuses for human beings should be in any public office.

I think this needs it's own thread: "McCain Wins Debate"
WTF? - It's an ad on the Wall Street Journal's site this morning caught by a reader an published on the Washington Post's site. Proclaiming that he won. This morning.
I will be bad and post the link to the pic after repasting the story links here. Go. Look. Unbelievable. Doesn't gramps pay someone who understands the Interwebs?
Heh - The Huffington Post is running with this "McCain Wins Debate" ad on the header of their front page. LOL.
Can the McCain camp work any harder for Obama???

....Everybody is feasting on this, starting two hours ago. I am late to the table. So much humor, all so long before happy hour, dang. It is being reported that the ad was spotted BEFORE he had made his official announcement that he actually would appear. Headlines like "McCain Camp Fancies Itself Psychic" on queerty.com are just a few examples. God, my ribs hurt.
Will McGrumpy be able to unify his work force in these final weeks leading up to the election?
