What's to worry about? They're only having a mental collapse. Ask Phil Gramm.

I'd like to know when Countrywide finally gets it? They sat on my last mortgage check for a week in order to charge me a late fee. I hope they are all out on their asses soon.

Will we have enough money to bailout GM too?

Chris, you keep thinking that this is a Republican problem, but it's not. The corrupt policy and banking practices that are coming home to roost are imbedded in both parties as niether party gave a hill of beans as to what was happening on their watch. If they did, we wouldn't be looking for a bailout from the tax payer. Both parties were more interested in lining their pockets with gifts from the K Street lobbyists while those on Wall Street literally were laughing all of the way to the bank when they deposited thier millions in end of year bonuses.
For the sake of our country, stop the Fed from increasing its opaque power to regulate and control our economy. They have made a botched job of it, and show no signs of improvement beyond serving the needs of their special interests and the wealthy elite. Our security is in checks and balances, review and transparency, fair discussion and disclosure. The would-be wizards and sorcerer's apprentices of the Fed are none of these.

You voted for bush twice like Busboy.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
It's really odd how bush voters are still very certain in how correct they were in dispensing advice to us.
  • Deacon_Blues · 1 year ago
Hey! Quit whining! Things are great!!
  • KerrynowCampau · 1 year ago
Yeah, all those people I just saw sleeping in the park using their sleeping bags as pillows must be on vacation ;-)

~ahem~ You wingnuts...Maybe it's time you shut the fuck up. Because of you, people are losing their jobs all over. If I was you, I would be trying to find a rock to hide under before it's too late...

Don't worry, GG, Bloomberg says that Jesse Jackson's remark about cutting off Obama's nuts should be helping Obama in the polls.

Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae -- "what a bunch o whiners!"
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
You know, with names like that, they would end up in bed together or in the dumpster...
  • unrepentant_expat · 1 year ago
And all this time I was thinking that Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae was an old Vaudeville act
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Well damn, if we can't whine then neither can the agencies who allowed this problem. No one is 'bailing out" John Q.Citizen so why does the gov get special treatment. I say let the whole damn works go down the drain, I am serious.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
I just got a check from the gov for 1200 smackers. I'm going to spend it and help turn this ghost train around!
  • Andrew · 1 year ago
Busbooy, either you have a screw lose or your a couple cans short of a six pack. Take your money and invest it in gold or silver. At least it will be worth something after the dollar goes to zero. Gold today closed up $16 and is sitting just $80 from its high in March of $1.035.00. Gold is heading past $5,000 an ounce and Paulsons play today was nothing other than putting a bit more lipstick on the financial pig we call our economy.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
    It was a joke....
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
let the RNC bail 'em out.
