Hey, that's great. I like to know people who're connected... ;-)

Good news. You know, I think it is crazy that little Lieberman is getting us all so worked up. He is despised by Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. Why are we letting him get to us?

I asked earlier but OT: Does anyone know if we are getting any numbers of the vote count in Alaska?

That's probably going to be a key job.
According to CNN, Obama's Web and e-mail activity as president will pretty much mirror his use of the mediums (medias?) during his campaign.
OT:...OMG...Palin being interviewed now by Blitzer wishes she could have reached more people...'you know, thru the media and stuff, there just wasn't enough hours in the day"..
Thru the media?!?!?!! how about Meet The Press...etc...or a press conference....what a dimwit

I'll take your word for it, John, since it's all I can do keeping my computer going. : )
It will be nice to be able to go to whitehouse.gov and find out what's going on, eh?

OT: It looks like we may have the opportunity to bankrupt the Mormon church, although I had hoped that this would just go to the US Supreme Court:
Calif. may vote on gay marriage again in 2010
Gay rights groups in California plan to ask voters to overturn the ban on same-sex marriage they approved last week if legal challenges to Proposition 8 are unsuccessful.
Here... looks like you could use a little more good news:
"The elections division still has tens of thousands of ballots left to count today and even more next week, but the latest numbers show Stevens' lead is down to 971 votes"
Woo hoo! No wonder they have been reluctant to count those absentees, etc. I'm still mystified, though, how voters could be in favor of a convicted felon, no matter how much money he got for Alaska. Must be a lot of other felons up there, too...

OT, but has anyone kept up with the financial news today? Paulson's admission that none of the $700 billion will be used to buy up toxic debt, and more billions will be needed, which in turn caused the Dow to sink another 411 pts.
I'm getting very, very scared, esp. about those who have nothing, who are still losing their jobs, their homes, will have no heat this winter, cutting back on food, etc. Sometimes on the blogs, we tend to forget about what's happening to real people out here who have little to start with.
