What Putin did to Bush, McCain has done to the press.
  • ron071 · 1 year ago
boloboffin: May I suggest that your analogy is not quite right in that Bush was fooled because of his incompetence while the press knowingly has taken sides for their own financial reasons.

What's that phrase that Bartcop always says? If someone makes money by making a mistake, you can depend on them to keep making that same mistake. Something like that.

I was really focusing more on Putin's and McCain's side of the equation, but point taken.

McCains lobbyist caused this war to create a little opportunity for McCain to look presidential.

I swear, that is how far gone I am on this media idiocy. Create a dramatic story and photo op for Johnny while Mr. Obama is on vacation.

If McCain can make up anything about Obama and the media reports it, then why can't I?

My narrative will include how John and his lobbyist started an war and how the Georgian president has been promised incredible prospects for Georgia from America.
    feh

I cant wait to have a society where there are no double standard and 'it's ok if you're a Republican' is not a media standard.

is it just me, or does 'Sidoti and King' sound like a high priced law firm that defends
big oil or the tobacco industry?

instead, they're reporters that defend the defenders of big oil and the tobacco industry.

less education and more influence on America.

Direct quote from the press pool: "We looked the man in the eye. We found him to be very straight forward and trustworthy and we had a very good dialogue. We were able to get a sense of his soul."

But, Lord, oh how this man has suffered! Worse than any of us could know! So what if he calls all Asians "gooks." He has been traumatized by a hateful enemy so much! So what if he had a "troubled" time in his marriage for almost ten years after returning from the Hanoi Hilton! He needed all that time to "heal" and find "comfort" in the arms of other women, women whose loving souls assuaged a wounded hero! What can any of us know about being unbearably starved for human touch in that foul hellhole! And, yes, he hates the Russians with a fierce passion! But they are the bad guys whose horrible ideology fuelled a war that nearly broke him! How can we dare to ever criticize this paragon, this hero-victim?

    Same thing with the commercials.

At the end of each commercial, Mccain says "I'm John McCain and i approved this message."

Yet the corporate media goes "No, he would never really approve it."

    Ugh.

INTENTIONAL DELUSIONS=BIASES There's little doubt remaining that the corrporate MSM has chosen to assist their Manchurian Candidate all the way to the election. Voters must be aware that their news is biased in favor of the Republican regardless of his incompetence. The 8 years of Bush/Cheney/Republican disasters ought to assist people in overcoming this insult to our democracy.

    WANT MORE PAIN ?????????VOTE McSAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
