As a very interested Canadian observer of this drama, I have to say that Hillary and her supporters are exhibiting a distinct lack of class, booing and hissing the result of the first vote. What should have happened is that a deal should have been struck in the back room and the committee should have come out and voted on that deal only, in a show of unity, and had it done with without the moaning and whining

Ickes was one of those who voted to take the delegates away in the first place and now he is "disappointed" that they won't get the full vote in Florida. This committee fucked up from the start and now they need to live with it.

Ickes has selective amnesia. He carelessly tossed out the word hijacked - paying homage to Bush, no less. And talk about chutzpah - talk about gall - who is he to attempt to educate the committee on democracy? To him and his kind, elections are all about doing and saying whatever it takes.

How they are doing it is how they should have done it from the beginning. FL and MI counting as half and no candidates campaigning in either state. If they had done that, we wouldn't be in this mess.
