AMERICAblog: Former prostitute says: "I knew Scott better than any other White House correspondent or Washington reporter."

  • CitizenX · 1 year ago
LOL... so they pulled out the "dead" hooker to discredit McClellan?
  • John Aravosis · 1 year ago
What's the famous saying about how to bring down a politician... caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy.
  • CitizenX · 1 year ago
No doubt, Must be a shortage of "dead" girls this time of year.
  • DCinDC · 1 year ago
    Take the man down.
  • bunnyjump · 1 year ago
hhmmmmm.....somebody else claims Scott doesn't appear to be his old self...

How long will it be before Gannon and Scotty are "officially" outed....and let's watch Gannon's spending habits the next few weeks...
  • DCinDC · 1 year ago
You notice no one calls Scott McClellan a liar. They say he is in it for the money, except they all agree with what he actually says.
  • drobert_bfm · 1 year ago
Here we go: Guckert has been ordered by the W.H. to reveal his relationship with McClellan in order to discredit him. That's probably why they've got so many closeted gays in the W.H.: so they can blackmail them about outing them.

I still can't believe Jeff Gannon is the guy that the White House picked to be their shill in the press room!
How on earth did that happen??
One thing is for sure, the true story of how Jeff Gannon (aka James Guckert) rose from gay prostitute to White House correspondent would make a hell of a movie!

I know I'd pay 11.50 to see it. (as long as I didn't have to sit in a sticky theater full of master baiting guys to watch it!)
  • TampaZeke · 1 year ago
So now the Republicans who defended McClellan against the many rumors that he was gay are now coming out of the wood work to "out" him because they feel that identifying a closeted man as gay is the ultimate disgrace and insult.

Gannon/Guckert has been one of the LOUDEST voices to complain about how shameful the act of "outing" is when it's used against closeted, hypocritical gay Republicans who actively promote and vote for anti-gay legislation. I guess it's a pony of a different color when Republicans use the strategy as a weapon to punish fellow Republicans who step out of line and tell the truth about the shameful, disgraceful and all too often illegal things they've witnessed when they were a part of the inner circle of the right-wing, Bush/Cheney regime.

The instant that it was announced that McClellan had written this scathing book I told my husband that the Republicans who were so against outing would be outing him before the sun went down.

    They're NOTHING if not predictable.

Scott turned on a light and the cock-roaches are fleeing! Actually pretty funny.

It will be interesting to see how Gannon can be used to discredit McClellan without also touching anyone else in the WH. How did Gannon get all his secret clearances, access, etc? Was it all Scottie? If so, how can that be? And if not ....

Let's not get sidetracked about the he said, she said (and if you see a pun, enjoy).

How 'bout some investigation here Reid and Pelosi? DO HIGH CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS MAKE FOR AN IMPEACHABLE OFFENSE? OR DO WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR SCOTT TO REVEAL HE GAVE BUSH A BLOWJOB IN THE OVAL BEFORE DEM LEADERSHIP DOES ANYTHING?

I'll tell you, the American people are fed up with both parties....I foresee a changing of the guard.
  • kiki · 1 year ago
Who really gives a flying f*ck what Gannon has to say. He is just another Bush administration puppet. Maybe McClellan will become the next John Dean. Finally a Republican that can tell the truth! I don't care how many years it took him to come clean at least he did it before the shrub and his cronies are out of office. Hooray for McClellan. To me McClellan never looked comfortable answering the medias questions. There was always a kind of soft looking side to him. You go Scotty and the best of luck to you!

He has to have known this would happen when his book came out.

The frothing at the mouth right-wing critics of Scott McClellan sound a lot like, well, Scott McClellan:

"I think it appears to be more about trying to justify personal views and opinions than it does about looking at the results that we are achieving on behalf of the American people."
McClellan, asked if former Treasury secretary Paul O'Neill's book contained falsehoods, January 12, 2004

"Well, why, all of a sudden, if he had all these grave concerns, did he not raise these sooner? This is one-and-a-half years after he left the administration. And now, all of a sudden, he's raising these grave concerns that he claims he had."
McClellan, on the book by former counter-terrorism tsar Richard Clarke, March 22, 2204.

Here are a couple of excerpts from an article that ran in Vanity Fair in 2005.

    [...]

"Sometime near the beginning of 2001, Gannon gave notice at the auto-body shop. He told McFarland, among others, that he was taking a job with a subcontractor for the Department of Defense, something for which he would need security clearance. For someone of conspicuous patriotism, with a fascination for things military, it seemed a good fit. "He said that whenever the Pentagon came out with a new missile or bomb or tank this subcontractor would do research to decide whether to go ahead with it,"
McFarland recalls. "He made it sound like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity." McFarland, for one, believed him; after one of the hijacked jetliners crashed into the Pentagon on September 11, he even called Gannon to make sure he was all right.

"In fact, Gannon was still in Delaware, though he drove to the Capitol on September 12 just to express his solidarity with his embattled country. The attacks, he said, only heightened his resolve to straighten out his life and contribute to the commonwealth. "I said, 'Let's see: your career sucks, your personal life sucks, your financial life sucks.' … It's like 'What do you believe in?'" He had already been reading the Bible. Now he intensified his writing, and, to clean his slate completely, moved to Washington, D.C., becoming perhaps the first person ever to go there actually to expiate his sins."

    [...]

    Curiouser and curiouser...

    Gannon's had his 15 minutes.

He's trying to latch on for another 15.

Back to the whorehouse with him.

Gannon / Guckert wasn't there to service the help. He was there for someone(s) higher up. Yet he's so damaged and damaged his credibility if he now just told the truth about everything for the rest of his life it would all sound like a lie. Perfect cover, sorta. If it had been thought out that way. He's narcissistic trash, and we'll never get the truth out of him to our satisfaction, but he's a great parrot - and he's parroting what he thinks of as his 'equals' are doing - NOT badmouthing McClellan because they are still busy reading / having someone else read the book to find out exactly what he said, and what he did NOT say.

I t looks to me they are all playing the 'wounded friend' just so much, because if they really squeezed him he would burp up a secret or two they REALLY don't want folks to know about. (Per squeeze.)

Looks like he knows more dirt on them than than he's said and they have much less dirt on him and everybody involved knows that.

Ultimately I think they think they will get away with stonewalling and ignoring the story away, it has always worked for them in the past, unless of course IMPEACHMENT or INDICTMENTS or SUBPOENAS are involved, and they haven't yet and THE CLOCK IS TICKING. Remember - Bush got IN by Baker running out the clock on the Electoral College dispute with the Supreme Court, they can all run the clock out AGAIN to get away with everything and pardon themselves before they leave. (It's simply the proper criminal thing to do.)

Isn't it true that if articles of Impeachment are introduced then the President could no longer pardon any of the potential co-conspirators (like Lewis Libby to start with, which you know he's going to do right before he leaves) ??? !! The ball is in in Congress's court. Time for them to DO THEIR DUTY TO THE CONSTITUTION AND THE PEOPLE.

It's incredible that the White House would try using Gannon against McClellan, cause it will only bring the spotlight back on Gannon's 12 'unexplained' White House sleep-overs, where he entered the WH one day & didn't leave until the next day. Enquiring minds still may be interested in knowing what &/or who a gay-male prostitute would be 'doing/sleeping' with at the White House???
  • JamesR · 1 year ago
Um, just going out on a limb here, but he was probably, er, WORKING. You don't have to 'Enqure' too too much, he used to get $1200 per weekend, or $200 per hour - my guess is $800 per overnight - (+ tips,) and mebbe press pass, and was obviously doing someone who lived there or worked late.

And doing someone who wanted an "Aggressive, Verbal, Dominant Top," who wouldn't leave marks," only "impressions." Perhaps with some wrestling. And since he doesn't kiss then none of it is gay! 'LOL'

Personally I kinda don't want to "Enquire" any more as I am getting some disturbing visuals.

I will just bet the Scotty Boy is a big ole bottom! He has that fat piggie bottom boy look.
  • PeteWa · 1 year ago
Guckert knew Scotty better than anyone, I guess you could say Jimmy Jeff and Scotty-Pie had an intimate relationship...
  • zavlin · 1 year ago
Have to figure that rove and co. are looking for ways to smear scott and paying this guy to say he had relations with him is definitely somthing they had to consider. its simple, and the kind of thing where once the allegations been made refuting it does him little good.
  • Mike_G · 1 year ago
Would the Press Secretary have the clout to allow a dubious character like Guckert to stay overnight at the WH for his personal benefit? No, this goes much higher.
  • shell · 1 year ago
    It's just a talking point.

"This doesn't sound like the Scott *I* knew."

How many Bushdogs have you heard say this in the past couple of days? 10? 20?

They are such amateurs. Hey wingnuts! At least get several different words in your talking points. When you all use the same phrases, it is too obvious. Even the dumbest American can see through it.
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
    Really...Maybe he's putz-zled???
  • nikto · 1 year ago
    Gannon/Guckert "knew" Scott?

By any chance, would that be "Knew" in the Biblical sense?

Filthy, enquiring minds want to know.
  • daveinboca · 1 year ago
Scotty looks like a mouth-man, but Gannon would know & now I see why McClownmouth was always kinda stuck for words....

I hope my Congressboy Wexler brings this, er, up in those hearings in front of the Scott-boy. They may hit it off quite well.
  • FatRat · 1 year ago
You all should give give James Dale Guckert a tad more respect. He is a published author, and has a blog that doesn't allow comments. I haven't read his book, but one Amazon reviewer gave it rave reviews. Guckert's book sounds like a real page turner.

Guckert didn't use his real name, he published it under his porn name "Jeff Gannon".

The Great Media War: A Battlefield Report

    Penetrating Analysis, October 25, 2007

I'm glad to see that Mr. Gannon has stiffened his resolve and not allowed the flagellations of the liberal MSM to blunt his hugely satisfying and deeply probing critique of their biased and ham-handed reporting. With a rock-hard intensity, Gannon grabs hold of the hypocrisy and deviousness of the "chattering classes" with both hands and drives home his thesis, refusing to quit until he has unleashed a torrent of white-hot truth on the flanks of those who would betray America. He refuses to "suck up" to the mendacious media mavens who can only weakly wave their limp-noodle excuses in his direction as he pricks their veneer of self-importence. His main thrust, that he returns to again and again and again, almost relentlessly, is that the MSM has laid itself wide open to repeated attacks by a massive rear guard action from a vocal and persistent minority of "New Journalists," who have exposed "Old Media" as the cuckolded, flaccid mouthpiece of Islamofascists and their degenerate allies on the left it is today. Bravo, Mr. Gannon, and keep it up!

all of the 29 comments i have read are proof of mencken's great american boob......there wasn't an insightful informed comment in the batch......

you all are so fascinated with bush loathing (and it is well deserved) that you are clueless about this gannon character....he is of extraordinary importance...he is much more than a man-whore....
