AMERICAblog: Fox Anchor decides he's heard enough Obama-bashing from Fox

  • CDS2 · 1 year ago
There would be nothing to talk about if Obama had said "typical woman" insead of "typical ""White"" Woman".
  • Dave of the Jungle · 1 year ago
Well, now Chris Wallace can go back in history and take care of the other 99.99% of the Fox Flushes he's failed to criticize.
  • scooter in brooklyn · 1 year ago
wallace must be worrying about his social calendar after 1/20/09.
  • Tom3 · 1 year ago
Does this mean FOX News will finally start adhering to journalistic ethics?

    Naaaaah.
  • amsterdamize · 1 year ago
Wallace: "...we know that Fox doesn't do talking points."

You know, same as: black is the new white (snark), up is down. You decide.
  • Tom3 · 1 year ago
Chris Walrus is a real Chimpyloving reichwingnut, so for him to bash other FOX News wingnuts is interesting. He is from the old school so maybe he's finally had enough of the complete lack of journalistic ethics at FOX News.
  • Chris From Maine · 1 year ago
he should expect that call from Roger Ailes any minute now.

You simply dont go off script on Fox News. If its "Bash Obama" day, then you Bash Obama or else.

by the way.. more evidence that Fox News supports Hillary.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
Wonder if his contract's coming up and he hopes to switch to a legimate news network soon?
  • Rustyzipper · 1 year ago
wow!!,, and I just saw a pig fly out my window.
  • peachkfc · 1 year ago
There's a whole flock of oinkers passing by my window right now.

I love the expression on the three Fox bozos listening to Chirs Wallace (!) being reasonable. It's absolutely priceless.
  • peachkfc · 1 year ago
    Chris, I mean.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
Yeah, all of a sudden he's concerned. Guess we'll see him on Hannity 's America next. If there was truly a republican that gave a shit about Obama, O'Reilly would have shredded them by now.......as would Limbaugh.
  • Rustyzipper · 1 year ago
Watching Richardson endorse Obama... Gawd, he needed a day like this.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
    Crowd is certainly fired up!

FOX is carrying the Obama Factor right now!
  • GDawg · 1 year ago
Fox News and talk radio will be talking about Obama and his Pastor all the way to the August Dem convention, and then until November if Obama is the nominee. Get use to it.

Pastor Wright is the "GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING"!
  • Dave of the Jungle · 1 year ago
The blockheads who pay attention to such sources won't determine who wins the election.
  • grasshopper · 1 year ago
Who cares? They're a lunatic fringe and getting crazier by the second.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
Yeah, Fox skews more Republican than even self-professed conservatives.

No way any of the chuckleheads who watch that network would vote Democratic anyway.

    Not laughing our asses off.

U.S. MILITARY DEATHS IN IRAQ: 3,992
  • SarainKC · 1 year ago
You must not have heard. tsk tsk. There is a clip of the actual sermon Rev Wright gave the Sunday after 9/11 that the quotes you keep referring to came from circulating like wild fire from YouTube. It appears the offensive remarks FIXnews and the radio mouth pieces have a boner over, is in fact a direct quote the Rev read to his congregation from a US Ambassador (and a white one, at that! Oh my!) he gave in an interview on ....FIXnews!

Try not to despair. Maybe you can go back to the Muslim thing again. LOL
  • Andrew A. Gill · 1 year ago
    Wow. They looked uncomfortable.

I wonder if Wallace will ever appear on Fox again.

(Also, NPR just reported that Richardson has officially completed the endorsement. Now, how's about a VP?)
  • FNReedie · 1 year ago
I certainly hope the Richardson is not the VP.
  • Andrew A. Gill · 1 year ago
I'm sure you have your reasons, and I'd like to hear them.

Why not Richardson, and who would you prefer?

(as for me, Richardson has experience as the head of the executive branch in New Mexico, and has experience in a presidential administration. He would be a draw for Latinos and also for the Southwest)
  • FNReedie · 1 year ago
Off the top of my head, I'd like Wes Clark. We will need a strong military background against McCain.

My problems with Richardson is: Claims he didn't know that maricon was perjoritive in Spanish (yeah, right), couldn't answer the is "is being gay a choice" correct in the Logo debate, and is a poor debater. I think he'd be eaten alive by just about any republican VP candidate in a debate.

I agree he will be a big pull for Latinos. But I think he'll be guaranteed a high-profile role in the Obama admin -- think Secretary of State.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
Yeah, I like Richardson's resume, but he just doesn't present himself well enough to be Veep.

As you say, he'd be good for a cabinet post, tho.

(I'm still partial to Dodd as Veep, though I know taking a Northeasterner is a risk.)
  • SarainKC · 1 year ago
Barack's remarks about Richardson sure sounded like a pre-endorsement for VP. It was thrilling to watch. I felt like Chris Mathews with a tingle going up my leg! (I'm not kidding- there was really a tingle) :)
  • Tom3 · 1 year ago
Chris Walrus sandbagged Bill Clinton in an infamous interview. Bubba didn't take it lying down...

"So you did Fox's bidding on this show. You did your nice little conservative hit job on me.... It was a perfectly legitimate question, but I want to know how many people in the Bush administration you asked this question of. I want to know how many people in the Bush administration you asked, "Why didn't you do anything about the [bombing of the USS] Cole?" I want to know how many you asked, "Why did you fire [anti-terrorism expert] Dick Clarke?"
  • theWalrus · 1 year ago
Just a minor brain fart on Wallace's part. I give him no credit whatsoever. He's a lowlife, despicable boob who does a great disservice to his father's image with the garbage he typically spews.
  • Andrew A. Gill · 1 year ago
    Lowlife? Sure.

But he's also opportunistic. And he knows that this is a major opportunity.
  • theWalrus · 1 year ago
    GOBAMA!
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
Wonder if it means anything when FOX can't keep the camera still while the crowd cheers? They could do that with McCain's crowd on a waterbed.
  • Tom3 · 1 year ago
Chris Walrus also dumped on his dad after the Chimpy AWOL story deal.

He ganged up on his own dad. What a scumbag.

Roger Ailes probably had someone rush a big gulp of Fox kool-aid over to Chris Wallaces house, can't have him going off message.

Great endorsement speech from Richardson and I think he also sent a strong message to Hillary that the primary is over and we have a nominee and it is Obama.

What are you talking about? Fox News (O'Reilly), broke the Obama story. Fox News is #1 for 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, 9pm, 10pm.
    http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/ratings/the...

In fact, O'Reilly's 11pm rerun beats anything on MSNBC, CNN or CNNHLN. And that is O'Reilly's rerun.

You liberals have been saying Fox News is heading down the tube last year, the year before, the year before that and the year before that. And guess what? Fox News is still #1.

You can't spin the ratings, the ratings are fact. Nice try. And nice try last year, and the year before that.

    LMAO !!

Notwithstanding the rightwing troll who posted it, the politico article is a good one that points out that unless Obama gets "hit with a political meteor" there is, in reality, a atomically slim to none chance that HRC will win the nomination. But she's a fighter and won't easily give up, even thought the odds are stacked against her. The only reason this "battle" continues is because the Media wants it to continue. Otherwise, what else will they report about? Certainly not the lawlessness of the Bush administration! Or the tragedy of the war in Iraq. Or the coming Republican-made depression. Or the...

Perhaps four of the most uncomfortable faces in Fox and Friends history. Not that I would know, the only other footage of F&F I have seen is when Gretchen Carlson did the "Spring is here woo hoo!" talk-over the video coverage of the midwestern floods...which caused thirteen deaths -- http://gawker.com/370245/deadly-springs-first-v...

    Thank you for listening.

HERE ARE (6) BIG PROBLEMS THAT THE DEMOCRATS FACE:

#1) The race issue, which isn't going away.

#2) The longer that Pastor Wright stays in hiding, the worse he looks and the worse it is for the Dems. And I don't see Pastor Wright coming on TV anytime soon to defend himself. Actually, there is nothing to defend. It's like getting caught in the cookie jar, and getting caught on video with your hand in the cookie jar. You can't spin what he said .. no way.

#3) The dems still have five more months before the convention, so this fighting back and forth among dems will continue. And the polls show that the fighting between Obama & Hillary is only hurting the dem party.

#4) John McCain has been vetted, he has been a U.S. Senator for 21 years and he was the #2 candidate behind Bush in 2000. He also isn't new to the political arena like Obama and he doesn't have that much baggage like Hillary.

#5) The GOP Party has rallied around McCain now. Hannity, Rush and all of talk radio is now behind him, they do not want a liberal in the White House.

#6) John McCain has the biggest support of Moderates and Independents over Obama & Hillary. And if you know your politics you then know that Presidential elections are won by Moderate and Independent voters. The far-right or far-left DON'T pick who wins, the swing-voters do and those are the Moderates and Independents.

BOTTOM LINE: You dems are in trouble, big time. And if you don't realize that, all the better. You will realize it in November
  • Dave of the Jungle · 1 year ago
Are we forgetting that little Iraq issue?

Prepare for the Landslide Punitive Election of 2008.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
He's also forgetting the economy, and the fact that McCain has absolutely no plans to fix it or health care.

But, to his point that McCain has been "vetted." Ha!

How many people know about the Keating Five yet? How many people know he's currently breaking election law? How many people know his campaign is stuffed with the lobbyists he claims to disdain? How many people know he dumped his first wife because she was involved in a car crash that rendered her handicapped?

And, really, how many people know the real story of his military career. That he was fifth from the bottom at Annapolis. That he crashed two fighters into the Gulf of Mexico before he even went to Viet Nam. (In fact, I don't think he was shot down at all. I think he just crashed another plane.)

No, there's a lot of "vetting" left to do on Sen. McCain.

Question? Why are you on this blog? Are you feeling so desperate about the repugs chances in November, (even if Diebold tries to put in the fix again) that you are pitifully attempting to sew dissent among the Dems?
Give up & go back to Redstate!

In all my posts, I try harder than anything else to make myself clear. I try to state things as simply and unambiguously as I can because I find that that's the best way to convince others that a careful appraisal of Princess GDawg's solutions raises some thought-provoking issues. First, the misinformation: Princess GDawg suggests that Pastor Wright is "in hiding". Where the heck did he come up with that? Can someone please translate whatever message Princess GDawg is trying to convey into something that I might better be able to understand, like Yiddish or that Bushman clicking language? As it stands, I have no idea whether Princess GDawg is seriously claiming that he is omnipotent or if it's simply the case that his ratiocination skills are nothing to write home about.

Princess GDawg claims to have read somewhere that the ideas of "freedom" and "mandarinism" are Siamese twins. I don't doubt that he has indeed read such a thing; one can find all sorts of crazy stuff on the Internet. More reliable sources, however, tend to agree that I can say one thing about Princess GDawg. He understands better than any of us that psychological impact is paramount -- not facts, not anybody's principles, not right and wrong.

STORY BEHIND THE STORY: THE CLINTON MYTH
    http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0308/9149....

Has anyone read this on politico.com?

Here is what they say: ((One big fact has largely been lost in the recent coverage of the Democratic presidential race: Hillary Rodham Clinton has virtually no chance of winning.
Her own campaign acknowledges there is no way that she will finish ahead in pledged delegates. That means the only way she wins is if Democratic superdelegates are ready to risk a backlash of historic proportions from the party’s most reliable constituency. ))

So why is Hillary still in this?

This all spells big time trouble for the Dems.

And has anyone seen the latest polls?
Rasmussen has McCain over Hillary by 10%
Rasmussen has McCain over Obama by 8%
Reuters/Zogby has McCain over Hillary by 8%
Reuters/Zogby has McCain over Obama by 6%

The Dems are imploding right before our eyes. I love it.
