Already starting in with the Hitler comparisons at that mediabistro comment thread.
Pathetic and disgusting.

hasn't the GOP run out of money to pay the folks posting retarded nonsense on blogs yet?? or has there been a new infusion of cash in the last 3 days??? Or is this what little tiny brains collapsing in on themselves looks like?
The insane nonsense being posted regarding Obama's presidency, besides being highly entertaining, is breathtaking.

And every time I see it, it's all I can do not to resort to the ever-quotable Tom Friedman:
Suck.
On.
This.

Maybe you shouldn't restrain yourself... Mr. Friedman, is after all one of their own...

There was never any shortage of trolls who dedicated their lives to sliming Bill Clinton. You can expect it to be even worse this time around. Hopefully, Obama will soon discover that by trying to reach out to Repugs, he'll only get his hand bitten.

I know the Clinton's were attacked for every breath they took, but I guess it's the emergence of the blogs and online commenting that has given the seriously deranged a platform to spew... (I'm talking more deranged than Coulter, Malkin, Hannity, Limpballs, O'reilly, Beck -- strange that it's even possible, but it is)

Hitler comparisons
Hilarious that the Republicans should be comparing Obama to Nazis and Hitler. Other adjectives that apply are pathetic, retarded, hypocritical, absurd, inane ...
Oh yeah! Uneducated!
Just a week ago, they were calling him a Commie, a socialist, distribute the wealth, liberal, etc. Result of the last 30 years of deficient education stinted by Republicans greedy opposition to paying taxes and fear of education. They have no idea at all of the meaning of those words, simply see them as hateful and throw them around at the Democrats. They need to go back to school and learn to read so they can study the difference between fascists and Commies as well as commies, socialists, liberals, Marxists, etc.
My old social studies teacher, Mr. McCarthy, would have failed the lot of them ... actually, they would have learned something since he was an award winning teacher. Bush would have rewarded Mr. McCarthy alright, with a cell in Guantanamo.

can they get that part out of the way real quick... I wouldn't want them to have to be subjected to commie healthcare.

Obama's just being "fair and balanced" and trying to make sure some of the little guys from his hometown papers get their questions in too.

If Obama is as smart as I think he is, he ought to privately suggest, strongly, that all Democrats boycott Fox. It's one thing to reach out to Republicans and ask for their participation. It's quite another to go on their propaganda network only to have your quotes cut up into sound bites that make you look like an asshole. And even on the live shows, Hannity and O'Reilly just scream over you, "loudest guys wins" style.
No, until that network becomes civil, they ought to be ignored. Let them try to survive when the real newsmakers, the people in power, are all elsewhere.

They should be ignored period. Rupert Murdoch tried to destroy the Democratic brand. Exile them.

Actually, now that we will have an honest criminal justice department with real prosecutors, should be very short work to prosecute Murdock for tax evasion or something similar. He is pure scum and will be plenty of stuff that leaves him extremely vulnerable to prosecution. He has no idea of any restrictions on his own personal self-centered life, and cannot comprehend that his money can allow him to do anything he wants.
Well, yeah, once Obama restores the Justice Department and gets rid of all the Bush appointments and Bush hires. Will be so refreshing to know that they are once again prosecuting real criminals, not political prosecutions.

Good! After their reporting of President-elect Obama's "palling around with terrorist" story, I hope they catch hell. I'm so glad that Bill Ayers finally spoke about the ordeal
