McCain gets the crowds of 5000+ when he's with Flavor of the Month. Let's see who shows up if and when he can't hitch a ride on her skirts.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
    ain't gonna happen.
he'll use her and then tell her to shut up if she tries to say a word on her own.

this is not a good man.

Ironically, Obama has been pressured by the GOP to do town halls. OK, but now the format makes him look as unexciting and unpopular as McCain was a month (and more) ago. Obama needs to do a weekly stadium event (like he did in Portland) to remind the media and the country that Palin is not the only effin' rock star!

Where is it written that McCain has to talk to the press. Who appointed them the decision makers.

McCain is taking his case TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

And polls indicate that they love him!

they love bullwinkle too. bullwinkle for president!
  • gumbygirl · 1 year ago
The Republican's are running Boris and Natasha, so why not Bullwinkle? He's got nothin up his sleeve, just like McCain and Palin. Oh wait, they just got nothin!
  • unrepentant_expat · 1 year ago
Bullwinkle: Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of a hat.

Rocky: Again?? That trick never works.

    Bullwinkle: This time for sure.

    Billwinkle: Nothin' up my sleeve...

<sound of sleeve being ripped off>

    Billwinkle: Presto!

    Pit bull : Grrraaarrrh

    Bullwinkle: Oops, wrong hat

    Rocky: Wrong hat, no shit!

Jefferson was asked if he could have the country he wants or a true, free press, which would he choose? He chose free press. Why do you think that is? If you had an education, maybe you could answer correctly.
  • ZennButtKicker (tlhwraith) · 1 year ago
seriously? Really? Is this the best you got?

The people don't love McCain, they are infactuated with the "illusion" of Sarah Palin. I tell you what, if you think the people are gobbling up McCain, let Palin hang out in Alaska until election day and see how the polls go.

If you are a paid troll, your employer is being robbed!
  • iWoman · 1 year ago
The polls do not indicate that. The polls are virtually a tie.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
yes, let's hope and pray the Big Liars keep lying directly to the American people.
and then let's check the polls to see how we're leaning.

    LOL...
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
oh my, digby makes a good point...
if the religious right is now mainstream, why isn't Mrs. Palin singing the praises of her faith from the mountaintops? or will she lie about that now too?
sounds like a job for Charlie Gibson, Super Pompous Ass.

McCain is deliberately trying to use Palin to astroturf the imagery he was criticizing Obama for. He hated the celebrity rally circuit when it was benefitting Obama but now he loves it when its benefitting him. We need to start contacting Obama and urging him to roll out more of his rallies to reignite the excitement he generated early in his campaign. He'd instantly steal the narrative back with just one of his rallies because he can captivate a crowd better than Palin and McCain combined.
  • greyroadster · 1 year ago
The media is so heavily biased right of center that McCain et al are incapable of comprehending the slightest questioning of their message or actions. hence the [beautifully orchestrated] attack after the questioning of Palin and now the hand-waving over the "lipstick" comment. Given The Economist and National Review have defected, not too surprising Fox would say something.... doesn't mean they will stop manipulating their "reporting" to favor McCain and stack their analyst with far right stalwarts that to attack Obama.

lol... "McCain has seen his poll numbers jump since dropping the town hall meetings". No, McCain has seen his poll numbers jump since Palin signed on, and her popularity is the only reason he now does stump speeches in front of crowds -- before the convention, he didn't *have* crowds. He couldn't get 15k people to take free tickets to watch him announce his running mate. Now with her on the ticket, he has crowds to wave to, and he's milking it.

    Off Topic.

Brad Hanson is the name of Palin's lover while married. This name should be plastered all over the internet like Lewinsky's was. Brad Hanson. Google it.

McGramps will need to end the snubbing of the press, its a loser and he knows it. Repugs are just buying enough time for Caribou Barbie's training. Obama/Biden landslide in '08.

Did the pitbull so overshadow Cindy that the blonde had to get a new bra to show what I must call "striking" cleavage in her green outfit today? How long 'til the pundits pick up on this one and blame Obama for revealing it? This little ole mind wants to know.
  • jjarlva · 1 year ago
Kind of off topic -- Have any Dem. strategists considered a comeback to the 'drill now' mantra asking who thinks Big Oil will let that oil stay in the US or if they will simply sell it to the highest bidder, regardless of the country having the money?
