    The GOP has been doing this stuff to a fare thee well for the past 8 years. GW, Rove, et al. fine tuned this. First you state the lie. Then days later you quietly admit the truth. The lie remains there forever for the true believers to latch onto, embrace and disseminate through the election until the end of time. Meanwhile, somebody calls them on it and they can point to the later statement. Bush did this repeatedly regarding the link (not) between Saddam and El Quaeda.

    It's amusing to me. These corporate pigs act like everything will progress in a linear path despite them tearing down it all. Typical yuppie thinking: Nothing will ever go drastically wrong so we can just keep kicking our institutions which includes truth and making millions. That's the American way. They better find a rock to hide under and even that wont save them for long. It's coming for you pigs. In a chaotic revolution, good luck.

    Of course Brit's closeted son Sandy, Capitol Hill reporter with a string of GOP insider exclusives and a weekend C-SPAN host, was exterminated (Feb 22, 1998) by his own successful hand or mysterious forces (wink, wink!) shortly after the aborted and so called 2nd Republican revolution in 1997...Brit knows where his bread is buttahed.

    Jake Tapper's article was very very good! I read Obama's book, and to point out also, that his Malik converted to Islam as an adult, which also confirms the fact that even though their father was of Muslim decent, he didn't practice the religion, and we know that the father was not much of an influence on Barack, since he left the family when Barack was only 2 yrs. old. And Britt Hume is a just a "mouthpiece" for the far Right-wingnut agenda, and must not be confused with legitimate journalists~

    Just as egregious, from a more "respectable" source: Michael Powell's feature article today in the NYT on Michelle Obama. An angry, bitter, uppity, ungrateful black woman whose fierce, finger-waggin', "Bitch, please" persona needs an overhaul via some major imagineers.

    "Hume gets it wrong" implies that he sometimes tries to get it right.

    I really don't see any attempt at anything besides propaganda there.

    All the Fox News people are bad to one degree or another, but Hume is on a par with Hannity.

    I'm at work, and I wanted to find out more about this story, so I Googled "Malik Obama" and (stoopidly) clicked on a link I didn't look too carefully at.

    Instead of more facts, I got "This website has been blocked because it has been characterized under: Racism and Hate."

    I don't know whether to feel angry or depressed.

    There is one minor detail that seems to get overlooked a lot. Barack Obama, regardless of religion, meets all of the qualifications to be president of the U.S.

    Can we just send an email telling Brit Hume to go phuck himself?
