They will take it from Social Security and people's private retirement accounts by printing so much money. A dollar is worth half as much as it was 8 years ago.

They tried to kill Ron Paul yesterday. Almost did. I hope they're really looking close at what's coming onto the campaign planes.

one economist says that the Government could end up spending $1 Trillion dollars to bail out Freddie and Fannie!!!! He says that the nationalization of housing is better than the nationalization of the entire banking system. Called it the lesser of two evils.
And Bush whispers to his friends at a fund raiser "that business got drunk".... I guess he would know, and I guess he knows that the taxpayers, like Mummy and Pops will have to pay for this drunken spree. But he doesn't care. None of them do. THEIR economy is just fine!!!
We can't nationalize the nation's healthcare, because...... but we can and are being forced to nationalize greedy mortgage lenders, and bail out stupid banks that didn't know their own business.
I'm watching the markets with awe at the stampeding herd mentality as they run from hill to valley not knowing what the hell is going on. Wachovia announces a near $9 BILLION dollar loss and the herd thinks it is good news. They keep believing that every day the sugar plum fairy is going to make everything alright and this nightmare will just go away. And the oil market is even crazier, up to 147 down to 127 and then up again and down again. Crazy.

I really like this Twang lemon and lime flavor for my beer. Little too tart so I took out about half and added my own sea salt to it.

Also, before I did that, the lemon and lime were a little too clumpy. Now it's more granular for pouring. Got some cucumber that I think would taste nice after sprinkle some of this on.

It's beginning and spreading worldwide, folks. Get prepared as best you can.
"Spain's finance minister Pedro Solbes has stunned the markets with an admission that his country faces the worst economic crisis in its history as the full effects of the property crash spread through the economy.
"This crisis is the most complex we have ever lived through given the plethora of factors on the table at the same time," he told Punto Radio in Madrid, breaking with past efforts to put a reassuring gloss on events."
Thanks wingnuts. Now get prepared to die starving on the street because of your own stupidity.

Yes, and did anyone notice that Wachovia, WaMu and another bank in trouble had their shares actually go up! Fire sale on Wall St., with Big Investors getting bargains, and possible takeovers, knowing full well that the criminal Fed will not allow them to totally fail, given all the taxpayers' money that is going to rescue them.
Yes, the average person is totally fucked. Inflation, job losses, etc. are totally bankrupting the lower 90%--the top 10% are doing perfectly well, thank you. It was set up that way.

They will fail. The run up just let the feds, through brokerage houses borrowing at the dsicount window, to loot the Treasury and use Taxpayer dollars bail out those invested at a decent false price. When these entities fail the shit will smother the fed, not individual investors.

It's adorable that you think the costs will be that small. It really is. $25 billion is a miracle that will never happen.
