AMERICAblog: Freddie Mac spent early and often to avoid regulation

Weren't angry-white-woman Susan Molinari and Newtie among the leading Rethug talking heads who put out the demonizing of Freddie Mac as the scary lenders to black people?
Shouldn't there be an online record of the way they took this money and then threw their former clients under the bus in the election campaign?

Looks like the disease has taken over the patient.
And you know the rightwing scuzzballs have tried to blame it all on Franklin Raines, a Dem, while they were making millions themselves. Raines might have had some ethical problems, but the party which is seen as having the most are the Rethugs, and they always start out being on the offensive. That should be a clue to anyone if they dig a bit and find out where the real influence peddling came in.
However, having said that, the Dems must tighten up and start requiring that all Dems, as well as Rethugs, will be severely sanctioned at the first sign of even an appearance of impropriety.
I'm not sure, though, that in the slime pit that is DC this will happen at all. The corruption is so widespread that even the election of Obama may not be able to stem it any time soon.

Some ethical problems? How about making 90 million dollars over a six year period. How about cooking the books? The reason the corruption happens at all is that you are so forgiving of anything that your party does. Obama received the most money from Freddie and Fannie and this is okay with you. All politicians must love the blind devotion that Democrats and Republicans have. It makes stealing from all of us much easier.

Funny how you left out the FACT that Chris Dodd and Barney Frank received the MOST campaign contributions from Fannie and Freddie. Typical closed minded hypocritical liberal crap! Dodd is calling for heads to roll. His should be first!

If a man is 20 and not a liberal he has no heart; If, by the time he is 40 he is not a conservative, he has no NO HEAD. Winston Churchill.

I don't understand why you don't include all politicians that received money. You seem to think its only bad that republicans received the money. Wake up. Its the fact that ALL politicians receive money from different special interest groups.

It is so funny to be called a RETHUG by Jack Asses that believes everything they hear on the alphabet channels without doing a little more digging. There were a handfull of so called RETHUGS in congress named in this blog but only one DEM and is that not convenient when we that researches things such as this realizes that probably four times more DEMS sucked on the Fannie and Freddie teat for campain contributions and yes this includes President Elect Obama. So all I ask is if you want to put items such as this out there please inform your readers of all the facts. And by the way I am not a Republican I am a Conservative that loves this Country and I am willing to die to keep it from going Socialist. So God bless us all and yes even those we have differences with.
