  • cowboyneok · 7 months ago

    60% for 40% against - keep voting!

I just love these "online unscientific polls" except, of course, when the other side FREEPS 'em.

    Thanks. I voted.

    OT:

Thanks also for Chris's Favorite Food Blogs now on Ab's homepage. I especially like Chocolate & Zucchini. Reading back through their archives was tasty and I booked a buncha their food blog links. This is a great addition to Ab.

402 for one minute. A minute later it was 415. This poll is on fire. Or "flaming" if you will.
  • An_American_Karol · 7 months ago
I guess the Indiana fundies haven't seen the poll yet.
  • whomod · 7 months ago
    Heh.

Is there a reason why it lets you vote an infinite amount of times?

Before any of us become too elated over the good news this week on gay marriage, the GOP is going to cling to this issue like flies to shit. They've got NOTHING right now. Nothing. And this is going to be the ONLY thing they will use to swing the pendulum. It is going to be hideously ugly between now and the midterms next year. My prayer is that all the various versions of civil unions and gay marriage laws will FORCE the Supreme Court to eliminate religious marriage as a state documental ceremony which it is currently. This is the only way we are going to get full marriage rights. And you can bet the flailing fundy clubs like Focus on the Family are going to rake millions in on this ONE singular thing.

Have you seen any response to iowa or vermont from the right? I haven't seen anything yet, and frankly it is creeping me out. I've never seen them exercise self control for this long before.
  • maudgonne · 7 months ago
    They are plotting...
Tweaking their response based on what they have learned from the global warming campaign, and the diss obama campaign.....
